    What a way to show your appreciation and loyalty to Toronto's fans, Kawhi. Drag your "decision" out so long that the Raptors miss out on signing any free agent replacements of consequence.

    I now have complete respect for Kawhi. He refused to form a super team with the Lakers and instead convinced someone else to come with him to the other LA team.

    This season is going to be really fun.

    Kawhi is really a funny guy, having some of us fooled that he would just go somewhere to win as the #1 guy and recruited the hell out of these guys.

    He recruited a guy under contract for multiple years and set a precedent that contracts don’t matter. I lost complete respect for him.

    PatBev, PG, Kawhi. That will be the defense to beat. ISO Harden wont work even in regular season.. at least 4 times.

    No way Canadians can disrespect him after he brought them their first NBA championship. He was always clear where he wanted to go. Raptors thought they could convince him to stay, but his heart was set on LA the whole time.

    What a way to leave though. He has really nothing to prove at this point.

    I really thought he would stay with the Raptors
    It’s going to a slugfest in LA against the Lakers next season
    Kawhi was the ultimate pro in Toronto Played hard and delivered a championship. Raptors sad too see him leave

    Kawhi blew off Lebron and AD and went in secret to recruit others on his own.

    I don't care what they say, imo he never considered to sign there. Only leveraged them to pressure the Clippers to get PG.

    As three teams recruited Leonard, he was recruiting Paul George.

    The Lakers couldn’t have traded for George if they wanted to. They had emptied their cupboard in trading for Davis and had nothing left to give. According to a person familiar with their thinking, they had no idea that the Clippers and Raptors were attempting to trade for George to give Leonard his desired teammate.

    When the Clippers did it, there was no doubt in Leonard’s mind.

    Clippers should be heavily favored assuming PG-13 can resurrect his mvp stretch.

    They are loaded with elite shooters and perimeter defenders. Will be interesting to see. I think we match up better with them than lakers though. Can’t stop the lakers from bully ball if it comes down to that
