If the Rockets don’t get Murray back in a deal with the Nuggets for Harden, Stone deserves to be fired. Michael Porter Jr. is not proven enough to headline a return for Harden, yet.

Yeah, he had some pretty great games last season, games where he had like 35 points on over 50% shooting while grabbing over 10 boards in multiple occasions, he's really talented, there's that concern about his back though, i have no idea how risky that is going forward.

    Milwaukee In: James Harden

    Sacramento In: Khris Middleton

Houston In: Barnes, Bagley, Haliburton, 1st Rounder from Sac, 1st Rounder for Milwaukee

Rockets get two young pieces plus two picks.

    Follow up with
    PJ Tucker to Boston
    Marcus Smart to Orlando
Rockets get Aminu and 1st Rounder from Orlando and 1st Rounder from Boston.

Herro had a good playoff series, he is good, but I feel like he could easily take a step back or not forward in year two like many do. There is no way I would think Herro can be the best player received back in a Harden deal, unless a very high pick from a third team is involved.

I think Miami and Pat Riley think the same of Herro, they were willing to move him for Giannis, but considered Bam untouchable. That says a lot considering Riley knows what he's doing. I just don't see Herro becoming the best player on a contending team, third best on a contender or second best on a non playoff team is his ceiling.

Butler liked a tweet saying Harden expanded his trade requests to MIA and MIL.

So no, there is no "but".

Butler really considered Rockets before choosing Heat due to his close friendship with Harden.

Butler does not appear to like CP3 however, they have gone at it a few times over the years.

And when he chose MIA, paul was still.with the Rockets.

In fact, Jimmy tried to recruit Russ to Heat when PG13 asked to be traded to LAC.

I meant "BUT" as in there was more he wanted to say, but couldn't because of tampering, teammates etc. Whatever he didn't say wasn't necessarily going to be negative lol

No they dont lol you need an Andre Iguadala type of wing to cancel out Lebron and you need a Dwight type of center to be physical and rough up AD. Harden is a great post defender but he isnt gonna guard guys 1on1 on the perimeter. With his mentality rn I dunno if he can coexist with another high volume shooter I mean the dude had issues with both Cp3 and WB.

Plus Denver got all the time in the world if they're smart they just gonna wait for Lebron to get old.

With Harden frienship doesnt seem to matter on the court. If he can fall out with WB who is his boy growing up he can fall out with anyone.

I agree with this. I happen to like both Tyler Herro and Porter Jr a lot, but neither are proven enough in my eyes (and MPJ has the back issue) to be the best player the Rockets get back in a James Harden trade.

    Haha Milwaukee and Miami???
No way Giannis wants Harden. Is everyone forgetting the all-star sledge and hardens response.
And despite what Jimmy said on the jump, I don't think he wants to give up control or the ball.

There is no trade from Philly that I’m interested in if Simmons or Embiid is not included.

there is no trade from Miami I’m interested in if Bam is not in it.

There is no trade from Denver I’m interested in if Jokic or Murray is not in it.

You may have noticed a pattern here...none of the above players are anywhere close to the level of James Harden...that’s the pattern.

I’m surprised he hasn’t added any California teams yet. If he really cares about winning and is ring chasing at this point, wouldn’t you want to go to at least one of the LA teams and he is from that state.

i think he might be easily able to average 40pts in the east every year and have a 60 win season or the % equivalent of it

All those teams that he mentioned have owners that are willing to spend. Tillman needs to sell part of the Houston Rockets. If he wants to be the majority share holder fine. But he needs to bring people in with money to spend to share the burden of owning a team that wants to win the championship. If all the issues this team has is its willing to spend for a championship then Tillman needs to just spend.
