Durant doesn’t have Fred’s leadership qualities. He just wants to do his job (which is scoring)

Durant can play make but he’s at his best off ball when the defense can’t key in on him as easily. Fred being out means Durant will have to be back on the ball.

You've got to be kidding me, on your day off?

Hope Fred recovers, sucks to hear, looking for PG depth. But it's clearly Amen and Reed time. Sengun might take over as a passing hub more this year as well.

That is horrible news but I think Practice methods should be looked at and examined......

There are tons of ending injuries happening in practice, work out and during scrimmage sessions.........not normal.

Reed has to step up big time now.

That’s why you don’t trade Jalen Green. Sengun should have been gone instead.

That’s why we should’ve done everything to trade FVV for KD lol

I don’t understand this. If a player is injured and out for the season, shouldn’t his salary come off the books for the year so that the team can find a replacement?

    Rockets really have 2 choices

    1. Trade Kevin Durant and get Younger Players that fit the Core

    2. Trade Tari Eason and Jabari Smith

Ime Udoka is a Psycho enough in trading every young player for a out of prime All Star Point Guard.

Bill O Brien waiting to happen for the Rockets soon enough.

Rafael Stone just following orders from Ime Udoka.

Vassilis Spanoulis is retired and available, He Loves to curse at Alperen Sengun.

    He would fit in perfectly.

Could be worse. Jalen Green could've still been on the roster and have an increase in ball handling.

There is truly a positive amidst this darkness.

So the #3 PG Draft Pick has to step up and prove to the world why he was selected so high. Reed, God bless you my brother. You're gonna need it!

    F*CK

I was just getting over them trading a 23 year old Green that the Suns didn't want (plus Brooks) over an expiring FVV. They're so stupid for that but at least what we were getting in exchange was a 2-year immediate championship window. Now we've lost Fred for this season and given his nose-diving stats, age and injury-prone career it's pretty clear he'll be an NBA backup even when he does return. We're now paying Fred $50m over 2 seasons to give us 1 season worth $15m. F*CKING GREAT.

With any mediocre SG on the roster, Amen would've beaten Fred out on the court by mid season anyway whether Udoka would have liked to admit it or not. Same way he beat Brooks out last season but Udoka weaseled his way out of it by benching Jabari instead. Now we hopefully get to see Amen on ball a lot.

Would have been nice to know this before Brogdon signed elsewhere. Hopefully now it's crystal clear to the front office that there's no f*cking need for 3 C's who can't shoot and struggle with FT's. I guess if we struggle to start the season we can consider one of Adams or Capela gone as soon as they become trade eligible.

Feel bad for Fred. Even though I don't like his fit on the team, he's been a solid team-first guy that carried us a lot in times of need.
