There's been such a large increase in achilleas injuries in recent seasons which is quite scary given the perception that they're career ending injuries.

Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on what the cause of the increase is?
Is it the boots?

 

Curious as well. Shoes? pace of the game? Going too hard during workouts?
