    I have also invited a bunch of people through this promotion. Am a bit concerned about dilution of the program through this. But congratulations to everyone who gets Gold, it's nice as it gives you late checkouts and upgrades.

    I have an unlimited number of Gold invites up until February 28, 2010, so keep them coming (and hopefully you will all stay at least one night by March 31, 2010 so I can get 1,000 points! :) )

    Another way to quickly accumulate Starpoints is using the SPG American Express card, which gives you 1 point per dollar you spend anywhere, and is also transferrable for airline tickets -- most airlines transfer at a 1:1 ratio.

    If anyone is intersted in the American Express card (now that you're all Gold!), let me know and I can refer you for that, too.

    (Each Amex referral gives me 5,000 Starpoints, in case you were wondering). :)
