Vince: "You're gonna have an exciting life, now!" I told my wife that we need to buy a slap chop so that we can have an exciting life! And.... yeah... Vince > Billy Mays. I hate the way Mays yells everything.
It has... under about 50 other names that all turned out to be crap... lol. I wonder how long before that blade gets dull?
We have the MagicChef version of it. Still works after 7 years, especially on onions. Pretty useful little kitchen gadget.
Well then dammit, you've sold me. I'm buying one... I'm going to put Rafer and 98% of the GARM posters under one and slap chop 'em!! I can't believe the guy uses the same cheesy lines in this commercial "call now because you know we can't do this all day"... hmm... sounds familiar... like a Shamwow commercial. I nearly lost it when he pulled out "The Graty". All I could think of was Tracy McGraty.
Holy crap, I'm laughing so hard, I'm crying. Vince kickin' the Spanish : <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/bZxyqMrb0uU&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/bZxyqMrb0uU&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
I hate that Billy Mays guy....but man his ESPN commercials are pretty funny. I lol'd the first time I saw one.
I got a pampered Chef version of this when I got married. We use it pretty often and it works great. Even has the split for easy cleaning. Hasn't dulled and works pretty much like he shows it.
For $15-$20, this is what I got a few years ago : http://www.amazon.com/Proctor-Silex...6?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1231304043&sr=8-6 Works dandy. I don't even have to slap it.
I have a shamwow or something like it...I was actually pretty impressed by it. I used it when I washed my car and it never seemed to saturate with water even when I didn't wring it. That said, I don't think absorbed as easily or effectively as the infomercial.
I love this guy's parody. Warning: There is foul language. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/-A9fmnAsgdg&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/-A9fmnAsgdg&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
