Two first rounders and Ben Simmons and I would pull the trigger. Sell Westbrook to the highest bidder...make Simmons play the point forward.

Trade Harden while you can before his contract turns into an albatross

    That's nowhere near enough.
Those 2 first rounders will be useless.
Almost less than useless as they will be late picks, that are guaranteed salary spots.
Teams don't really like those picks, generally.

He's given us eight seasons. LeBron gave Cleveland 7 before he dipped to Miami. We should be grateful that it's taken him this long to ask out, if he does so this offseason. He could've easily demanded a trade when the Dwight era failed, but he didn't.

I doubt Stone ever picks up the phone from Morey... Morey is just planting seeds for a move later. If and when harden leaves it will be to go East, though.

I mean he’s really close w/ Meek Mill perhaps the city of brotherly love will indeed land the Beard.

...I feel bad for Silas already

Morey and Tillman have likely already completed this discussionprior to his departure. Wouldn’t shock me if this is a coordinated dance. The ability to quickly flip out of a team he inherited, while saving millions in a once in a generation economic down cycle, has to be appealing to Tilman. Just as letting Morey walk from a huge contract was.

He should ask for a threesome with WB. Then settle for Harden.

Honestly don’t mind getting rid of Harden for a younger guy in Embiid. Harden has shown the inability to perform in the PO when it matters most and I’m honestly tired of it. Bring in a Joel Embiid and a few 1st round picks to start over with Silas and see what happens.

1 more season at least, likely 2. 3rd year is player option.

Harden's contract will never be an albatross my guy.

Extending Jimmys contract would be best way of shooting down those trade rumors.

Houston receives: Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, Bobby Portis and RJ Barrett

    Philly receives: Harden and Randle

New York receives: Westbrook and J. Richardson

This is a trade I would make. Draft picks can be added accordingly but this trade should work financially.

I agree. Some folks are true blue, but perhaps I am giving Harden too much credit.
