I saw this a long time ago. It’s an unofficial measurement and I didn’t want to put it out there, but it’s making its rounds today so here you go. Impressive vertical nonetheless, not sure if it’s 49 inches though.
Sharpe is a FREAK!!!! Wish he was a more willing defender is all. Reminds me so much of a bigger Green.
I want the Rockets to select him at 4, if the 3 bigs are gone. That's been my position from the beginning.
I admit it could cause problems. Another option is to select Ivey and move down for another player plus a future unprotected pick if we're lucky. Mathurin should have the edge over Sharpe in my opinion if the Rockets end up trading down to 5 from 4.
Didnt Keon Johnson break the record last year? How tf did Jordan even become the record holder when the previous record holder before Johnson was somebody else? SMH https://therookiewire.usatoday.com/...n-nba-draft-combine-max-vertical-jump-record/
Put Green vs those guys rn he'd prob look like Jordan and Wade combined. If Sharpe was such a freak and monster he should have played and prob get his school go deep in MM.
It's crazy to me how Sharpe became a top 5 pick without even playing. I mean, yeah ok he could def be the best player in the class but ******* the dude hasnt played except for a couple of games in the EYBL and he becomes a top 5 lock wtf. Aaron Rivers and Shabazz Muhammad should have been like Sharpe and just stopped playing once they became no 1 in their high school class. Rivers is what, a 6'5 guard? Shabazz also had elite length at 6'6. Why even risk it? Just stay at home, work on jacking up your drill results like Corey Kispert, release highlight tapes vs inferior comp and voila you in the top 5 and some people are even gonna say you should be top 3 or even go first as the best player in the class.
... and so Twitter starts another legend... like the 48" Michael Jordan vertical. Man, that last jump of 21.9" must've been backwards.
Exactly. People are only looking at it from Sharpe's POV. Sure its s good move from Sharpe's POV not to play cuz he is already seen as a top 5 pick. But from the team drafting him's POV why would you take a risk on a guy afraid to show up vs college competition? Thats a serious red flag like you can take Green and ask him to plsy in the NCAA he'd have no problem with that and most probably destroy everyone. So Sharpe afraid to me signals he still isnt ready as people believe.
Yes and if you remember NBA finally mandated a year of college or some other league cuz too many high schoolers were busting out including guys like Eddy Curry, Desagana Diop and Kwame Brown.
