before you get excited about name calling from behind a computer screen, you may want to be sure the point you make is valid. i never said they shoot the same as anderson. i said they can hit 3's. the ability to hit the shot means the defense has to spread to cover them whether they are as good as anderson or not. also, you may want to understand the context in which the 1 line you choose to quote is being said. i also said that our guys produce in other areas that anderson can't. i'd rather have tj who can rebound and block shots at a high rate AND can hit a 3 over anderson who can hit 3's at a high rate and be subpar everywhere else. i'd rather have dmi who can hit the 3, post up, and play some off the dribble than anderson who can hit 3's at a high rate. the point that you missed when you got excited over calling someone with a better track record than you on this forum a homer was that we have 4 guys who are more versatile, and can still accomplish the floor spacing. the last point i made, that you chose to ignore, was that anderson with those other 4 would be less impactful, not worth the money, and we could get greater value if we landed a top draft pick instead. but you're right... all i said was our guys are as good at 3's as anderson. i didn't say casspi is better than anderson. see above.
I agree smoothie, I watched ryan anderson when he was playing with howard with the magic, not much of a rebounder since he camps at the three point line, won't get defensive rebounding, his three were good but very streaky at best. and get me started with his defense. I think we should keep waiting for better offers.
