Ryan Anderson scores 26 in season debut to help Pelicans blow out 76ers in New Orleans. http://t.co/X2LQXHetoM

Perhaps Morey was holding out to see how Anderson would bounce back before zeroing in on the trade?! See ya Asik.

Don't need him anymore - get a first and an expiring for Asik and move on with what we have.

We need a defensive center willing to play back-up minutes. Did you see how it was lay-up drill when Howard was not in?

Nope, we're not gonna make the same problem we had last year when trading Asik is our chance to get our defense shored up.

Asik's value is worth more than finding a guy to play 10-12 minutes a game.

We do not need a defensive center for 12 mins a game - they can get by with Dmo as backup Center or Smith.....for 12 mins.

    Or play zone.

Asik is just not needed here any longer, we have a much better upgraded version of him that can EVEN catch the ball.

I guess it should be mentioned that Ryan Anderson seems to have the same type of allergies Ppatt had when it comes to REBOUNDS. In 27 minutes on the court tonight he had 26pts on 10-16 shoot 6-10 from 3pt land but only 1 rebound LOL

The more I watch DMO and Tjones-- the less I want Anderson and Ilyasova.

Those guys are both better than our guys now, no doubt, but in my mind we dont have to win it this year. Giving Dmo and Jones PT this season and letting them develop is more valuable. Both of them have better upside than those two guys all around. We just have to let them bloom.

If were gonna do teh asik trade, play these guys, let them drive up their value--and move Asik and one of them (preferably Dmo for me) for a top PF like LMA or Love.

With T-Jones playing so well as of late and being such a young player with a lot of talent, I think the Rockets should hold off on the "must get a power forward" trade talk. Especially if we are only talking about Ryan Anderson or Paul Millsap. Love and LMA are different cases but still I want to see what Jones and now Dmo have to offer before we push them back into the benchwarmers.

DMo had a great game and TJones has been coming on strong lately, but I still need to see some consistency before I am ready to flip Asik for an expiring and 1st rd pick.

Minnesota in a week will be a great test

You want to trade a top 10 center in this league for a first and expiring contract?

    Come on man.
