yesterday in a thread you made fun of a poster because they made a point of substance and not their usual wise cracking. it was delicious irony.
It always amazes me that there are still some that comes to Bond's defense even when he practically admitted to using horse tranquilizers (yes, horse tranquilizers). Anyway, all reporters should be forced to give up their sources, I'm still pissed about Woodward and Bernstein. They should have been brutally tortured until the sources were revealed. The end.
bonds is a cheater but so is mcgwire....nobody cares about how mcgwire cheated. its ridiculous to single out bonds and start an investigation on him. AND WHY GIAMBI GETS A PASS IS JUST AMAZING TO ME
that's one thing i'll agree on you with lol. if you're gonna do it to bonds, at least spread it out to the players that actually roid up. it doesn't take a ****in rocket scientist to figure out a few suspects off the bat. giambi, mcgwire, sosa? seriously, why is it just bonds? i hate bonds as much as anyone though and seeing bonds suffer is hilarious, but i agree we should throw more into the fire.
I don't care if Bonds used or not. what amazes me is that people always say that his numbers are not legitimate when you don't who was using and over half of the players caught are pitchers. that's was funny.
Certainly Giambi and Sheffield were using - they get more of a pass because they fessed up. Bonds on the other hand says that he only used flaxseed oil. Being a cheater is bad, but being a cheater and a liar is worse. As for the comparison to Ruth- old Babe: old Barry: Barry was on the juice, Babe was on hot dogs and beer.
Here's Dave Gooden all natural body building champion in his late 40's -- you don't have to be on drugs to get ripped at 40+.
lol...what exactly are you implying KingCheetah? that you truly don't think Bonds has ever ingested an illegal substance even *once* in his life, whether knowingly or not?
Problem is, Barry is not a body builder, he is a ball player. If all he had to worry about was getting ripped, sure he could probably do it. I think he is more concerned about being the best ballplayer he can be. I also think he did some sort of performance enhancing drugs. You can think whatever you want, and since there are performance enhancers that cannot be tested for, there is not likely to be 100% irrefutable evidence either way. In my opinion, the circumstantial evidence against Bonds is enough to convince me that he is on the juice.
Bonds is like Pete Rose, the problem isn't that he did steroids it is all the lying about it that he has done after the fact. DD
yeah I don't even care that Bonds did them, because a whole bunch of other players did too during the same time period. Bonds was still one of the best players in the history of baseball even before just don't come into this thread and claim that you think he has never used an illegal substance once
the way bonds is finishing the season, everyone can go ahead and look expect him to catch ruth. next season is gonna be a circus
yeah, that's what I meant. I'm really surprised, I thought he was done, too old to come back from his injuries.
Feel sorry for what about Bonds? The fact that did something that is illegal in the US? Or the fact that he makes $30MM a year because directly due to that illegal activity? Or the fact that his cheating made him loved by fans for years and got him a huge MLB record? Why exactly should we feel sorry for the guy? The fact that he's now having to deal with the consequences of his actions?
or the fact that your entire post is speculation, or the fact that your accusation that the money he makes is because of steroids is ridiculous
