Here here. Sex may not be something you feel is something magical, but why just have sex for the sake of having sex - especially if you try to drown your sorrows in it? If it's not providing you with what you are looking for, then why continue with it? Find some other method of fulfillment and, in the future, you'll know when the time is right for sex - whether it be with a significant other or not. Sex isn't necessarily something to brag about (and now I'm delving into what Manny said a few posts back), nor is it something you should just do without any feelings towards the person. There's no reason in having sex just for the sake of having sex.
Any "man" can have sex. It takes a real man to be loyal and faithful to the person their with. Just like with woman, I think if a man has sex just to have it, it's a sure sign of low self-esteem.
Juan, I think Holden might find his own path faster just making mistakes than he will trying to figure out what the hell you are or are not advocating. Holden, you're a kid... and you're human. You figure things out as you go along. Oh yeah, and you make mistakes, tons of them... but that's life. Just don't hurt anyone (ie don't pull people over on the highway, yadda...) and listen to your conscience or parents if applicable. Repeat. If you can retire without having maimed or killed anyone, and you have met a few of your goals along the way... I think things will be OK. You'll have regrets along the way, but those are little cues, tantamount to "don't put the hand on the hot stove again".
You think YOU can do it and get away with it so easily that you can even post it to a public bulletin board, but she would be OBVIOUS? HA HA HA HA HA!!! Dude, what's her number? If your "man card" has the same rules on it as mine, it should also say, "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." Baqui, I agree with a lot of what Jeff said. If you think being a man has to deal with having as much casual sex as possible while having a girlfriend, I would bet that you have just lost a lot of respect from most of the people on the BBS. If you were single, I guess I wouldn't have a big problem with what you are doing, but to brag that you cheat on your girl for meaningless sex means that you dont give a rats ass about the people you're in a relationship with.
Bad form Baqui. I think the consensus is that you don't deserve a Man card. A real MAN wouldn't expose his girlfriend to unnecessary risk of STDs.
Baqui reminds me of Dan Fielding from Night Court. I guess he thinks that having sex all the time makes you more successful than doing well in your job, contributing to society, etc. It is attitudes like that that makes our society so great!
