I've been SRF throughout my stay here at cf.net and have always been skeptical of everyone for this very reason. You never know who is on the level here. The anonymous nature of the internet allows anyone to come in and be a fool or make up stories to pretend they are someone they aren't. You never know if someone is telling you how they really feel, or are just trying to get a rise out of people. A lot of times it just looks like someone wanting attention. Attention whores are the worst. If anything this place has also lets me see some really good discussions about politics and religion, two subjects you rarely get to(or want to) see out in everyday life. I feel like I've really learn a lot about the two subjects since I've been here and helps me understand how and why people think about things they do. Thank you all for that.
Or that moron who went by BTM, didn't one of the mods say he had like 3 names? I remember Heypartner said he and Macbeth/Jag had almost the same IP address and tried to call him out as the same person, but there was some mistake that lead him to believe that. I'm sure things like that really do happen and are pathetic in my opinion. I'm sure there are quality(at least you think they are) guys here that have gotten other names and jumped on just to piss of people they don't like, or lost an argument to.
Was it BTM? Lol...you'd think I'd remember, but it only rings a vague bell. What I do remember...lol...was HP saying to me something like " Ok, I'll admit it's possible you're not __________. But if you're not, look aver your shoulder and say hi to him, cause you're definitely in the same room." This went on for my first few days back. While I was able to see HP as a good b-ball poster later on, I was never quite able to get over my initial perception of him as a vaguely paranoid innacurate self appointed BBS watchdog.

That hurts Manny. God, I'm glad that guy is gone. Although he's probably got another name that he scopes the boards with... I don't think he's dumb enough to post again with his Bulls crap, but you never know.

hate to burst your bubble. that is true about me using "assprin" or "arsehole" instead of swearing. he's a different guy/gal. i've noticed him in the chatroom before the crowd gets there for game time.
I think I registered *throw_out_bearing* once, I think it was in response to someone named "transmission" or something like that. and I have /had one that I used back before the .com to.net transfer...but I'll be damned if I can remember what it was. and I have one more that is still active, but I havent used it in a long time.
I've used the same name in my time here. The jonheath, bigtexxx, trader_jorge thing was mostly just a joke because both of them seemed like such cheerleaders for T_J. There was a time when the board was tranquil, when T_J was away coming up with the supposed "epic" post or whatever, that both of them would openly pine for him and wonder when he'd come back. I guess that was the suspicion, that he used one of those names in the meantime. Also, bigtexxx went to Rice as well I believe and I remember him saying once that T_J wrote for the school paper or something. They may not be teh same, but they might know eachother, or texxx knows of T_J in the "real world." There's a lot of talk about Major's previous name, wonder when he'll retell that little diddy?
