    Why should Lin and Asik attend when all people talk about is trading them all summer. What do you think that do to the players? It makes them unwelcome and probably not going to give it a good effort due to people not believing in them. They can't demand trade because their contracts are huge...and so basically they're stuck. On the one hand, they want to get the hell out of the Houston and don't want anything to do w/ the rosters. On the other hands, they can't enforce trade because it's just not visible.

    This is the type of thing that I've been waiting so long for. A group of players that wants to spend time together growing. Morey has created an animal this off season. They should all drop by Kobe's house and take him for a walk.

    I am certain Lin, TJones, and a couple of summer leaguers will work with the team. Not sure about Asik though??? we shall see...Go Rockets...im soooo excited already

    Part of Turkey is in Europe, part is in Asia. Asik's home town is in Asia, though I don't know where Asik is.

    To be fair to both of you, the current boarders do put about 3% of the country's landmass in Southeastern Europe. "Eurasian" is also acceptable. :grin:

    Only a tiny bit of Istanbul is. Most of Turkey is in Asia.

    I think i might have to go and hang out in LA for the time they are there. I have had a good luck running into Rockets players in LA when I drive up from OC.
