Am I the only one thinking y'all readin too much into this? Damn. I like Lin and all, but all the attention his fans/haters bring him gets annoying.
Would provide a good reason why he had to leave the Rockets practices early. I hope all this Jeremy Lin stuff blows over because it's somewhat overshadowing what should be the real story of the offseason, OUR RETURN TO CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENTION.
Deja vu? I thought like 10 pages earlier in this thread, people were having this SAME discussion about how Lin used the word "Rockets" and it seemed too distant, and blah blah whole debate over it. Look, I get you guys have a lot of time on your hands, but let's not psychoanalyze each word they use on twitter lol. If you REALLY want to have this debate, go back 10 pages -- either I'm seeing the future or this whole thing has already played out a few hrs ago
Some of you guys here must be mind readers. Every single word gets analyzed into oblivion. Even ESPN doesn't do a better job than that. Also, some of you guys seem to be unhappy with Asik just cause he didn't attend the camp. Come on. Cut the guy some slack. He saved our butts so many times last season and all of a sudden just cause Dwight Howard came everyone is forgetting what he did last season.
A little of both? (he does seem a little distant, but you could be sleepier than you thought you were if you read that much into the verbiage difference between his tweet & Caanan's.)
Maybe he decided to stop by to his favorite spot in SF? Though for someone as media-smart as Lin is, his recent tweets are kinda dumb and unnecessary.
will everybody just chill out??? it's the offseason, let's enjoy being touted as one of the contenders for a change. no one knows what will happen or who will become available. so speculate but don't get too invested in your speculations
Lin wants to play down the importance of his twitter, so he posted some dumb tweets with interesting choice of word and provocative picture. The point is, off season! give them some slack.
Who is saying he is not being professional or immature? Not me. All I said is something was different for a reason. I also never said he had to be an alpha, but he was last season because of the role he played and I guess he got used to it and thought it would be that way for a while. All of a sudden, Chandler leap frogs him in rank and Howard is automatically higher. He knows you can't have too many cooks in the kitchen, so now he has to act more like a true role player andlet the others do the talking .
