Not sure what your sig says (it didn't show up in your reply to me), but Lin is not the type of players who need to be "an alpha" or "big three" or whatever to thrive. His game may have many flaws, but as a person/teammate/player, he is always mature, classy, and professional. We can disagree, but I don't see Lin as the type to become "detached" just because he supposedly lost his starter gig.
I assume you were talking about yourself? I conceded he was average last season, and simply said there's no reason to believe he wouldn't improve. If this was too "sensitive" for you, perhaps you need to re-adjust your sensitivity meter.
Prepare to be dissappointed. Lin will improve from his mediocre season. PG's and C's are the most difficult positions to master. If any rookie or second-year'er plays at near star level, he is heading for HOF. JVG was right. Lin was overhyped and overrated after Linsanity but now he is seriously underrated. People just look for any weakness to criticize. Media are a double edged sword and now Lin is getting carved up into pieces. What goes up MUST come down. The feeling of coming down is as much painful as it was joyful going up.

I could definitely be reading WAAAAAAYYY too much into this, but it seems that their tone in referencing "the team" is a little different.... Jeremy's been working out with "the Rockets", yet Isaiah has been working out with "his team"...I just noticed that and was wondering if anyone else had...
I'm not saying that Jeremy thinks he's on his way out, I'm just saying he seems almost sort of distant.... or maybe I'm sleepier than I thought I was.....
I think he's been told that he'll be traded if the right offer comes in. That seems pretty much obvious now imo. No reason for a person who's been told he's on the trading block to congratulate new signings since it'll be embarrassing if he's traded shortly after. His main focus should be on improving his game. It's good that he's being distant imo, as long as he's putting hard work in the gym. Just like all Lin threads though this is now a breeding ground for trolls and other poor posters.
