I think this is much to do about nothing. At least he showed up and stayed this long. It's the off-season and it's not like the coaches are involved in the training. No big deal.
And if you know him to be a team-first guy, why would you jump to conclusions that are contrary to his character? Why wouldn't you first assume there is a perfectly logical explanation?
Why are his fans taking this to heart? No one is attempting to assassinate his character or even labeling him unprofessional. It's just bizarre he's been so unethusiastic about he organization as a whole over the past couple of months. I think the fallout & criticism from the first round knockout, his atrocious playoff performance, the incessant Beverley comparisons and him allegedly being shopped around must be weighing down on his mind. Like Asik, he's probably hurt, confused and somewhat angry about the whole situation. Maybe that explains why he's been so passive-aggressive lately. Lets hope he takes the criticism to heart, it lights a fire under his ass and he in turn raises his game next season. Unless you're a once in a generation type talent like Duncan or Magic the choir boy persona hardly ever works in sports. Every athlete needs some nasty.
I don't know if Lin leaving is a big deal, but any time most of a team flies out of their city for an organized camp during the off season, that's a pretty big deal.
Hahaha. I agree they are annoying but just understand the Lin haters are getting so DESPERATE. It's quite interesting to watch as the days go by. If Lin isn't traded this off-season, he's likely to stay for another 2 years or more. Just sit back and relax and watch the Lin haters throw out more and more ridiculous aspersions about Lin on every little bit of NBA news minutia.
Agree there. He's a smart kid. It just seems something doesn't add up. Lin isn't going to cause problems but this all seems odd
I wonder if this training technique is from the Phil Jackson method of training hahaha. I guess the Zen Master had his players actually do Zen meditation I stead of just visiting a Zen garden. I know players have their individual styles and personalities but Jeremy should be boozing and partying with Harden and Howard in LA and not visiting gardens! Harden is so good at it he can even go clubbing during the NBA finals in Miami and still play like a star! + Dwight knows all the best clubs in LA. GET YOUR HEAD IN THE GAME JEREMY. If you keep on being this humble serious charitable person, all the kids gonna hate on you!
The speculation is crazy. First he doesn't tweet enough, now he tweets and his every word is analysed. As Jason says Lin doesn't seek the spotlight like going out to many public functions, but he's talked about so much more than anyone that does.
Well I'm an Atheist so I don't believe in all this God stuff. I guess Lin thought the whole Linsanity was God given. Don't know why he trains so hard if he thinks it's God given. He should party like Harden who as you said has a God given jump shot.
I only saw this because it was quoted, having you on ignore, but Clutch is very serious about keeping politics, religion and the like out of the GARM. Fair warning.
With the ESPYs going on I'm sure several players may would have been out there anyway. And Howard, Harden, Lin, and TJ was already there. And plus they've been working out since Monday. I may criticize Lin's play but I defend him on this one. And Bev and Isaiah aren't mad about it because it gives them more time to get in the flow of things with the team.
So you call Lin Haters annoying. That's ironic because Rockets fans say the same thing about LOF's... But Lin only fans are the ones that created this hype monster and I believe many Rockets fans would like for Lin to stay if his zombie type fans would go. And even if Lin was to stay the entire two years that remain on his contract _ who's to say he will be a starter and how would that effect his fan base if he's rotten away on the bench. Be careful what you ask for... Laugh now cry later.
