What is there to debate? Stupidity is stupid.

If this is true she should be ashamed of what she did.

 

I get what you are trying to do. I disagree with it, and think it's disgusting. But c'mon stop embarrassing yourself and at least try to find some anecdote concerning someone who others actually care about like Ellen DeGeneres, Barney Frank, Annise Parker, or Neil Patrick Harris. If you don't care that you embarrass yourself, at least learn from what you are trying to do and stop embarrassing others who hold your viewpoint.

I am skeptical about all customer shaming stories these days.

And that's why I don't tip.

 

Maybe there was a second shooter. somebody could have picked up the receipt after the couple left, wrote a message and put it back before the server got there. maybe one of her co-workers who has issues with her.

 

Erm. The customer was charged the tip. That means the customer would have had to fill out the entire receipt with the tip and full total. If a co worker traded out the receipt, then the customer would never have been charged the complete amount.

As others stated, these false accusations are becoming more and more common.
