The job situation is truly a national disgrace and embarrassment

He has proven completely ineffective in working across the aisle to achieve fiscal discipline, instead cowardly looking to the Fed to print money and assault the middle and lower classes through higher energy and food costs.

The stock market is in free-fall

He's been anything but eloquent, as was hoped -- i.e., making fun of Special Olympians (?!!??!?!) and embarrassing foreign gaffes like the Polish death camps ignorance

He's let Putin take a piss all over him regarding what to do with the dire situation in Syria. complete leadership void

His healthcare law could get pimp-slapped by the SCOTUS, since Obama didn't even bother to check its constitutionality.

Thankfully the SEALS took out bin laden, but even then Obama tried to shamefully take credit (undeserved)

Unfortunately, Republicans have been so keen on not being cooperative that nothing COULD be accomplished. I don't agree at all with Obama's policies. However, I also don't agree with the blatant party-line shenanigans that continue to plague our Legislature.

A LONG List of President Obama’s Accomplishments! With Citations!

    Republished with permission from PleaseCutTheCrap.typepad.com

If you’re one of those folks who thinks President Obama is a “disappointment,” you haven’t been paying attention the last few years. And those of you who try to draw comparisons with the Bush Administration should put away the hallucinogens and have your memory checked. If you were in a coma for the eight Bush Years, I apologize and forgive you. But please join the real world. So far, this president has done most of what he said he would do if elected; imagine what he could have done by now if progressives had supported him and not given him a Congress that doesn’t look at him as if he’s the demon seed.

What follows is a PARTIAL list of Obama’s accomplishments so far. Unlike many such lists, there is a link to a citation supporting every single one.

    Legislative Prowess

Despite the characterizations of some, Obama’s success rate in winning congressional votes on issues was an unprecedented 96.7% for his first year in office. Though he is often cited as superior to Obama, President Lyndon Johnson’s success rate in 1965 was only 93%. http://n.pr/i3d7cY

Lack of leadership qualities is a major factor. Anyone currently know NASA's goal or how they plan to achieve it? After his extremely vague space speech in florida over 2 years ago (which was a flip flop) there has been nothing but stalls and "rockets to nowhere".

    Leadership equals =

Gas prices are down. A few months ago he was being blamed for them being high. Using that logic... Obama has saved us from rising gas prices!!!

This is all so true, bigtexxx. I miss the days of Republican leadership where the budget was balanced, the economy was strong and we could feel like proud Americans invading countries left and right. (suck it Saddam!) Once these stupid Democrats got in, they instantly made the unemployment rate go way up, the deficit skyrocket and they turned that switch that makes gasoline prices rise like crazy ughhhhhh. They also decided that every American should have health insurance, while forgetting about the fact that we should have the freedom to not have health coverage and be able to show up at a hospital when we have health problems with the government footing the bill. That is true freedom. I bet he would've even stopped Seal Team 6 from killing Osama if he had any say in the situation. Where is the leadership Obama?!?! Why is he making the economy grow at such a slow rate? Why won't he lower taxes for the wealthy, everyone knows that that is a sure way to get the deficit under control, it worked the last times that we cut taxes.

Seriously get rid of the guy and get a gun-toting, freedom-loving Republican in the White House NOW!!

I love how mark's list equates passing legislation to an accomplishment. This is just a list of things he signed. Those aren't accomplishments (especially when you have super majorities in the Senate and House). An accomplishment would be the legislation leading to positive results. By this standard I would assume all you liberals thought the Patriot Act was a great accomplishment too. It did get signed.
