On T-Mac's defense though, When he is healthy. He is capable of moving without the ball and play above average defense. But since he's never been healthy for the last 2-3 years? What's the point? The Current T-Mac is useless unless he has the ball in his hands and that hurts the Rockets more than it helps.

Isn't Les a Floridian? Sticking to with his home state player.

    Its true, sadly.

Without T-Mac the team looked GREAT tonight. The ball movement was superb, but that was because NJ's lack of defense really makes those lanes readable. Still, the offense looked especially fluid.

Honestly, I don't understand how that is. When Tmac plays he does nothing. How does nothing hurt you?

No no, not just 2 games. This is every game he has played vs all the games he hasn't played I know someone here will have the stats on that.

And who is gonna go undefeated with him going in and out plus losing Ron for a chunk of games as well.

Tracy is not the player he used to be and we won't ever be again... at least not with us. Yeah that's right I said it. He is just a loser that won't get outta the 1st round or win a championship, unless he goes to the Celts or Lakers maybe even the Cavs. ;)

SO if it's equal... why make the point?

Have you been under a rock since 1972?

With T Lazy, we cannot even beat a weaker East team!

    in all honesty
the rockets did play good without tracy mcgrady
I mean seriously, the ball movement was great, rafer was doing good, he knocked down his shots because he had confidence with his passing, instead of having t-mac dominating the ball most of the time
Ron and Yao both played hard and unselfish
help defense was great, I mean they played HARD and cared for the game!

so I think T-mac should either be traded or just sit for the rest of the season

No kidding. Do we need any statistical evidence? :)

Yet... we have beaten strong West teams with T-Mac this year... so why is that?

    It's equal.

You all just want to kill someone. Why?

You all really think a trade will fix it this year? Really?

    the stats back it up.

also, i remember we beat boston and almost beat the lakers without t-mac.

we can compete with the top teams without him.

What are you talking about? How is it equal? One is WINNING. The other is LOSING.

And the 1972 comment makes no sense, just like your first statement.

When? I don't remember a single good win we had with Tmac all year.

    Rockets history in Houston

.500 or better with and without (winning season thus far)

One of these things makes sense with each of my previous statements.

It's not my job to dumb down everything.

If the Rockets can't get rid of T-Mac they need to bench him for the rest of the season, including the playoffs.

    Iroc It,

It is not equal this year, Tmac has been an anchor on this team. They play better basketball without him.

Clearly he is not right, either in his knee, or between his ears, I blame Adelman for not sitting him for his own good and the good of the team a LOT sooner.

    Look at it this way.

This team was built around Yao and Tmac & never got anywhere.

    Enter Ron Artest.

    Right now Artest > McGrady.

So now the team is built around Yao and Artest. And the support cast is better than last year.

So if they thought they could win with Yao and Tmac with the right complements I don't see why we can't win with Yao and Artest with the right complements.
