and Tmac + Landry is not bad.
Tmac give them cap space for moves at 2010
Landry is a promising young pf

Detroit has cap space this coming season; may well next summer, too. So, TMac eats this year's up for yet another youngish 4?

Why are we so eager to trade his expiring contract. Lets just wait and see what offers are out there available to us first.

disagree. Nash is good with runand gun, but he also can play inside-out game.
Looking at his early years game and his stats with Shaq this yr
    74 33.6 50.3 93.3 43.9 3.0 9.7 0.7 0.1 15.7
    he is still damn good.

image this team with his 9 assists per game, and yao get balls comfortablely.

I will trade Tmac for Nash. This will only make the Rockets better because Nash shooting percentage is on a different level compare to Tmac. And Nash, i have no doubt want to be a Rocket because he's a friend of Yao.

I don't care about his age...he's still very lethal. So here's the deal: Trade Tmac + Aaron Brooks for Nash!! We still have Lowry who i think will eventually replace Brooks as a starter if Nash isn't here. This lineup will be sick:

    Nash
    Battier
    Artest
    Scola
    Yao

I think the best thing to do is wait one more year with tmac, re-sign artest.

I don't think we're going to get anything good out of trading McGrady. Honestly the only people (that actually have a possibilty of getting traded for mcgrady, no kobe, lebron, cp3, wade etc.) that i would pull the trigger on would be a Michael Redd Danny Granger of a Ben Gordon. Before I would of said JJ2 but he hasn't been playing well.

Let's just wait it out one more year.

Dream case scenario from today until 2010:
-We win the championship this year
-Re-sign Artest, Tmac recovers to semi elite player, no trade made.
-We win the chmpionship again, re-sign mcgrady to a 2year 7 million contract, sign a PG.

If we get Steve Nash, a man I personally hate for many different reasons, I will have a a really hard time watching games. I will root for every other player, but I will never root for Nash. God I pray we don't get Nash.

I met Steve Nash at the Atlantis Casino on Paradise Island in the Bahamas 3 years ago. He was with Raja Bell. We asked for a picture with him and he took the camera and stuck it up one of the 18 year old girls skirts I was with. Raja had to calm him down and stand his trashy lookin ass (white t-shirt and jeans with **** spilled all over him) up to just take the picture. Raja was classy and well dressed and thankfully he was there. This was RIGHT after Steve shaved his head for the first time too so it was very noticeable. I will post a picture of his dumb ass if I can find it.

    NO STEVE NASH.

That means the team is standing pat minus Wafer. No tweaks, no backup center, and no Wafer.

If the Rockets keep Artest they don't have the salary space to keep McGrady.

-Atlanta is not gonna be trading either of thier stars unless its for another legit all star.

-Carter may max us out again but he is a legit 20 point a game guy, and we'll be one of the few teams in "win now" mode for the summer of 2010.

-Word from Sac town is that they're broke and are looking to cut cost at every measure, if they draft a wing with size, it becomes very likley that Martin becomes expendable due to his contract and lousy defense.

-Nash and Ginolbili are admittedly long shots, but as far as I'm concerned anyone that can shoot the three at 40% and run a pick and roll can play with Yao. The only reason they suck w/ Shaq is because collectively they don't get it done at the defensive end. If you have Nash on a team that can get stops, then you can slow down the pace and play deliberate half court ball. Also while Ginobili is oft injured and old it means that we could resign him for considerabley less come the summer of 2011, it could be a good gamble if his foot heals and spends a couple of summers away from the National Team.

BTW I'm not advocating any of these per se, I'm just saying when you have a contract the size of McGrady's your best bet is to try to get another star. Any teams that deal for cap space are not going to package young talent and draft picks in return. So we're going to have to take a big contract if we plan on getting someone that is going to contribute.

Nash seems like the drunk ass/douchebag/club type in real life.

Atlanta wouldn't be trading joe johnson though. He is a free agent in 2010, basically when TMac comes off the books. It would be a direct signing.

Miller will have to be an SnT. He and Philly seem poised for a divorce.
