People are upset cause his "decision" took forever...Morey could have drafted or traded for a pg by now.
why does the nba allow these international players to enter the draft when they are still allowed to play overseas??
If Rodriguez is leaving and they renegotiate Llull's contract to give him that money instead. He'll be making more than the MLE in Europe. Possibly Rodriguez wanting to rejoin the NBA killed the Rockets chances.
This guy is too greedy.... How can you ask more money than Ariza without playing one day in NBA before.
Llull is this year's Bosh for Morey. We're tripping over out d:::: right now on PG. I hope and trust Morey is playing his cards very close, but we can't afford Another miss at landing a PG after last February. PG is the major deficiency. Harden is calling it out.
Maybe they guy just don't have the guts to leave where he is comfortable to take a chance in the NBA.
Trade his rights to Minny with Papa for Martin and call it quits. He'll sign with the Timberwolves to play with his Lovetoy Rubio.
If RM renegotiates his contract to give him Rodriguez's salary the Rockets would need to offer him roughly 8.5M/yr for something equivalent.
I dont think he would have made us champions, really having him just for depth was the whole purpose of the move IMO. but anyways this will be the first domino to fall for Houston, so Morey now will execute his other back up plans to improve the team.
This is one of the few sane posts in this thread .... People pissed off that he chose to stay in Spain for another year and throwing insults around aren't taking into consideration how it would affect him financially starting with the buyout which is $5m+ of which the Rockets can only pay $650k. Add to that the fact that the cap will make a huge increase next season , he would stand to make significantly more and the buyout be much less. This was a financial decision .... nothing more. Patience is a virtue ....
