Yao / Hill / Hayes Scola / Andersen / Jeffries Battier / Ariza / (1st Rounder) Martin / Buddinger / Taylor Brooks / Lowry / Llull I like it. Either there will be a trade, we might not bring Lull over, Hayes won't be re-signed, Lowry/Scola won't be re-signer, OR we won't be able to sign our second round pick. I don't really think much of Llull stat wise. His shooting percentages are nice, but he doesn't shoot much and he plays in Europe.
What else can he say? That he likes Madrid but is looking forward to jumping to the NBA when the Rockets call? If the Rockets want him, he's here. The questions are Pay and Opportunity. For example, if Aaron Brooks gets traded in the offseason, and we bring in an old PG to fill the gap for a year, it's very possible Llul comes in 2011.
a nice backup indeed. Backup to lowry that is! Let's buy this guy out, trade Aaron Brooks for Bosh and then start shaping up this team for a championship!
Man, I would love for him to come play for us next season. That way, we can make Brooks expendable in possibly a sign and trade for Bosh, Amare, etc. Also, this is the only reason why I hate it when teams draft international players. Too much of a gamble. It seems like he won't come here for at least a couple of more season.
if something goes wrong in the offseason with Lowry and us trying to get him back with the team. Llull may very well be with us next year playing an important role.
