Very much looking forward to Muramasa and Marvel UA2. Halo 3 ODST I'm tepid, and Scribblenauts may or may not convince me to buy a DS, depending on reviews. Pretty good month...
Should it now be called "Disney: Ultimate Alliance 2"? I'm glad they went back to the Halo 1 pistol in ODST.
A slight heads up Ahem If you have a good computer (quad core, 4gb ram, 8800gt+) you can "obtain" Muramasa and "try" it out .... Ahem...not that I am encouraging....just saying...
I'll probably pick up ODST. I want to get the new maps and recon armor for Halo 3, and wouldn't mind trying out the game.
Want to get both ODST and Dirt 2; I've been clamoring for a new racing game for a little while. Though it bothers me just a little that Dirt 2 seems to have ditched much of the true rally events. So I'm kind of torn if I should just get Dirt instead for 20; maybe get Dirt 2 when the price drops down the road. ODST is a no brainer, although I haven't been as excited about this as the other Halo fps games, maybe because there's no Master Chief. Still it's a Halo fps and that's good enough for me. It'd be nice to get all the maps too, although I really haven't played Multiplayer as near as much as I did with Halo 2, because IMO, Halo 2 Multiplayer was way better. Firefight should be fun.
October 27. I've played each Ratchet and Clank game on release day since the series started, but this one sounds like it's going to be the best. 4 radio channels featuring the historical cast of the series The Clank levels with the time mechanics sound amazing Interplanetary space missions Tons of different things to achieve and collect An Insomniac Museum that will be a true challenge to unlock. Developers are saying you'll need to play the game through 2-3 times to level up enough to defeat the Guardian of the Museum. More Qwark Dr. Nefarious. I was debating which game I would play first: this, Uncharted 2, or Brutal Legend, but I'm going with Ratchet and Clank.
If you are a Beatles fan at all, get The Beatles: Rock Band. Tremendous fun and the visuals for the later songs when they became a studio band are amazing. There's not a lot of songs on there, but I imagine they had to save most of the songs for DLC to help defray the liscensing costs. Plus, I'd rather have 45 real good songs then 30 good songs and 50 cr@p songs (I'm looking at you Guitar Hero). All in all, a great game and something every Beatles fan will enjoy. Now the wait begins for ODST.

That's the official release date. It is listed as 9/8 pretty much everywhere I believe (Amazon, Gamestop, Wikipedia, etc.). The store you got it from probably just sold it early. That, or maybe you went to the release party which was going on this past weekend. In other news, FF13 will be released on December 17th in Japan. Doesn't really matter to us in the West (unless you import), so no point in making a new thread IMO.
I can't wait for this. I've beaten TOD 4 times (3 on challenge mode). I can beat it in like 2 hours with the RYNO lol.
I didn't it was going to be that long. Oh well. Sucks though that Uncharted is coming out at the same time. I'll get that one too, but have to go with Ratchet first. Looks like its going to be great. I never did pick up the download only game, but I probably will before the next one comes out. TesseracT - You're right, that Ryno gun is a monster. Love that thing. On a related note, any of yous guys know if you'll be able to access better upgrades with your game save of the last one?
The download game, Quest for Booty, was all right. At $15, it was a bit overpriced for a pretty short game. You can only level up 5-6 guns up to a 5th level. I haven't read anything about previous game saves unlocking anything. I would guess it might unlock skins or possibly a few free weapons like they did in Up Your Arsenal. Something else I neglected to mention in list above is a whole slew of mod weapons. You can customize the entire look, fire type, and secondary damage for them. It really sounds like Insomniac is pulling out all of the stops on this game.
