    It's some what impressive that he predicted great things for Lin from the start, though Lin still has a long way to go to being a future league MVP like Nash. But to call the author a "genius" you need to look at all his other articles and see how many of his other predictions he got right vs wrong. Every year somebody here predicts one or more of our rookies is going to be a future all star or superstar. If they finally are correct about one of them this year, after having missed on the past 8 years of predictions, are they now a genius?

    That is a great point the OP brings up by bringing up similar starts in the NBA, however Jeremy Lin averages way too many turnovers. It is yet to be seen if Lin can be anywhere close to Nash, but then again Lin has already gotten the Hype part down.

    he has nash basketball iq. but his own style of athleticism and pure enjoyment of playing. he's gonna be great on his own name. and I don't say that about a lot of people. (Kobe on Parsons)
