Actually I know no one is obssessed with me but what bothers me about replies like that is that I don't understand why someone is so offended by me being a Francis fan. It also assumes something else that is the bigger problem, any thread about Francis the critics and flat out haters come out first, so what's wrong with anyone defending him. Sometimes people act like Francis tried to poison Yao's food so he could keep the spotlight for himself and defending him is being a traitor to the Rockets. Third, someone already posted the exact same response in another thread just last week, so if you are going to call me out at least be original. Lastly, I have a problem with any poster telling any other poster how to post. If you want to debate the merits of my position that's fine but don't criticize what I post about.
haha, thats funny,i saw on the magics website that he was called "mr magic" and he is "most known" for his game 1 steal from mj in 95, i thought he was known for game 1 against the rockets in 95..... if he is "mr magic" ,that further confirms they suck.
No kidding, if that is the best your team history has to offer, maybe best to leave the past in the past.
Well, Orlando may say they want him around, but I imagine that right now they would take an offer if a fair one was given. I don't think Steve has a whole lot of trade value at the moment, and other teams sense that. The inquirers who didn't get far in trade talks that the article mentions probably weren't offering anything close to what Orlando wants in return. They figure a couple months of good stats like he put up early last season will jack up his value...then they can get something decent for him. That's my guess.
^^^ Definitely, they won't trade him for chump change or cap relief one season after letting TMac go. Steve still draws a crowd and he's still popular around the league. Their management has done every worse possible thing to poison relations with the fans and their superstars. A public vote of confidence might not solve internal problems, but it doesn't harm ticket sales, and it leaves their god awful local media grasping for straws.
