Aww look at these experts analyzing a teenage professional' s game and putting their thoughts into the internet. Cute!!!
I agree! He has a very solid game to build around, I just think he's young and needs time to develop. But as I have been preaching for awhile....we need MYLES TURNER
You can't be an efficient playmaker out of the high post if you can't shoot? Ever heard of Draymond Green? The primary playmaker for the 2nd most efficient offense in the league. #10 in the league in assists while shooting a cool 26.5% from behind the arc. It's worked well enough for GS to win 3 titles in 5 finals appearances and they are set up to challenge again the year. Sengun is not a good finisher on rolls? He averages 1.12 pts per possession on rolls to the hoop. That's elite. Wood's numbers aren't as high.
The onus is on the Sengun. The offense ideology is proven, he isn't. He's a highly skilled, mistake prone, 19 year old rookie. He'll get better. No need to pretend he's flawless.
Well, 1. It certainly can be, and if argue it was effective in this instance. 2. I'd urge caution when using certain words around here, there are posters who get insanely triggered by them.
imagine watching the 4th quarter and seeing Wood operate in the middle of the zone then coming away with this conclusion. i thought weed was still illegal in texas.
You're projecting Sengun to something he will never become. Green is by FAR our best rookie and not even close. Behind that it's Christopher
I agree he’s not flawless, he’s got things to work on. But he is the future of this team. This offensive ideology is in no way proven, standing around without movement requires and elite one on one player, there isn’t one on this team. Players will excel if they move off ball when he is on the court. He also needs to get better at protecting the ball while attacking, and develop a consistent shot from outside so he can get more respect on his face ups and drives.
