Does it not alarm anyone here that a very important memo was suppressed, purely for political gain? Is that the transparency that we were promised? Heck, is that even honesty?

Are the Sheeple finally willing to admit that the concepts that they bought into during the campaign were nothing but lies? How is this not obvious? And whatever happened to 'reaching across the aisle'? That was placed with the smug Robert Gibbs saying that 'elections have consequences' and 'we kept score in November and we won'... How gullible these Sheeple were...

No surprise that OddsOn is posting stuff from Inhofe without the merest mention about what a lunatic he is.

Well, Inhofe has been right about 'climate change' since 2001 -- in the face of heavy criticism. That's leadership. A sheep would follow what they say in a movie -- say Al Gore's movie -- without any scientific proof needed. You tell me which one is the lunatic....

It's time to take a fresh look at the numbers -- there is simply no global warming going on currently. Check the stats since 2001.

Of course he is, just for the simple fact that none of them are lunatics at all and he is a big, fat, honking lunatic.

    Hilarious.

Somehow the right has flipped conformity as a bad thing?

And then flipped it on a group of people very likely to contain social anarchists and large amounts of left-libertarians.

well, eh. Wouldn't be the first time ignorant people have used stereotypes.

Though I question just how black the pot is when it is calling the kettle. Perhaps if we did a study on religious affiliations, occupation and importance placed upon traditional values, I would wager that blind conformity is something that tends towards the right.

Of course, personally, I don't give too much of a s***.

I thought it was common knowledge that it's not 'global warming' but climate change. Plus, it's always better to be safe than sorry.

Why would climate scientists be warning about Y2K?

Also, you do realize that years were spent converting the code prior to 2000 so that there would not be major issues. If nobody (not climate scientists) had ever warned of such things the problem would not have been fixed and there would have been problems.

Oh come on you know just as well as I do that ALL scientist are the same.

that is one thing that always irks me in movies, scientist always know everything about any subject. For example in a movie you have a marine biologist, and he/she also knows everything about Physics, chemistry, cultural history and ICT. I mean come on, scientist are focussed on specific subjects, a Biologist does not necessarily know a lot about quantum physics

Actually, they are different experts. But in that example, people took those experts seriously and spent billions of dollars worldwide to ensure a smooth transition. It's a perfect example of how to properly handle looming threats. And the opposite of what you're suggesting.

What ticks me off about movie scientists is that these days, there seem to be a lot of 25 yo sexily-dressed blondes who just happen to have amassed a lifetime's worth of subject knowledge, mastered several foreign languages, exhibit an innate ability to read Egyptian hieroglyphics, and have multiple PhDs all while running a major research facility that they can just leave at a moment's notice anytime some much older guy with crank theories goes galavanting around the world in an Ahab-like quest to prove his grandfather was correct.

come on!!! Denise Richards was nothing short of stellar as Dr. Christmas Jones.

for my money, there aren't enough scientists whose first names mirror a religious holiday.

Very important memo? You have a crank on your hands... please tell the Republicans who manage your daily outrage to do a better job of vetting...

But, but, but folks, I ate a Big Mac yesterday and had no heart attack! This cholesterol science is BS, perpetrated by some mad plot to get more and more grant funding for making stuff up! ... And having peer reviewers agree with the made up stuff, and then having the physical universe actually, um, agree to make experimental measurements seem to agree with the, um, stuff that scientists made up. Wait.

Sizzle Chest, if you believe so strongly that man made CO2 is causing temperatures to rise, then why have you failed to produce any statistics showing this? Other than your perceived consensus of scientists (which is false), then what are you basing your conclusion on?
