LMAO...No justice?? Cry me a river, mfclark.

Miami got rooted so many times by the, ahem, ACC officials that they were really playing 2 teams - FSU and the officials.

I hate to sound like Cat but 2 plays that were highly dubious were:

    1) a "phantom" or weak at best chop block call against Miami that negated a long pass to Roscoe Parrish when the score was like 17-14 or 20-14. That play was as huge as a momentum changer as Dorsey's 1st interception.

    2) that fumble when that PK character absolutely got his jock knocked off of him by Sean Taylor or Marshall (can't remember who it was...it might have been Sikes). Of course, the ACC officials called it incomplete.

Plus it was funny, to say the least, how the clock mysteriously stopped at .01 seconds despite being in Miami.

The bottom line is that Miami played like **** by giving up WAY too many yards rushing, Dorsey is a joke of a Heisman contender, McGahee made a big play like he always does, FSU should never have a kicker kick in a pressure situation, and I am f*cking hoarse from jumping up and down and screaming like an idiot as that game ended.

This was one of those games in which Miami was outexecuted and damn lucky to win (just like against BC and Va Tech last year). Hopefully, this will be their ONLY close call.

But don't write Miami off yet. Scoring a TD in 19 seconds?? Are you kidding me?? I'm just glad that it is over and they won and I am going to celebrate into the wee hours of the morning this one! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Oh please. Winslow pushed out Kendyll Pope on the play before the touchdown right in front of the refs, a play that should've been called for a 15yd pentaly. But, you know what? It wasn't. So...I don't want to hear no whining about the refs....because Miami did not prove themselves to be the better team today.

It's also miraculous how Miami tried to prevent FSU from getting the play off, something that could've been a delay of game penalty...but wasn't. No excuses - Miami won but did not look impressive in doing so. The refs didn't hurt them - they hurt themselves.

That is why they are the national champion, baby. They find a way to win even when they play like ****.

    BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

How did it feel to have Miami tear your heart out again and show it to you??

Poor ole Bethia...he's probably crying like a baby and he will join Gerry Thomas, Dan Mowrey, and Matt Munyon in a "Where Are They Now?" show.

Better luck next year, mfclark. At least you won't have to worry about Dorsey beating you for a fourth time!

i give your team props Manny, they truly played like champions.

unfortunately, my team's offsides penalty in the final ticks of the 1st half lead to 8 points.

Manny- Does the term "win with class" mean anything to you?

Oh give me a break, kidrock.

I would have been expecting the same thing from mfclark and you (more from mfclark) if FSU had won.

Just reading his excuses for them losing to Louisville made me realize that it is never the better team that beats FSU. Which I think I can remember him making all kinds of excuses for FSU getting their asses kicked last season.

Yes, I admit that FSU played better than Miami today. If they played each other 10 times this year, Miami wins 7 times out of 10. Today was one of those "ugly" 7.

Plus, I will never forget 47-0 from 1997. No Miami fan will forget that humiliation.

I respect FSU but I ALWAYS want Miami to bury them. I was highly pissed that Miami didn't put up 50 points last season in Tallahassee. However, these close wins (which always favors Miami, hehe) seem even better than a game like last season.

I will say right now though that Virginia Tech is probably better and has better than a 50% chance of winning in the Orange Bowl in December. Dorsey has to really step up his game for them to win that one.

Manny- Actually I wouldn't have had a "nanana boo boo" rant. I would have been happy, yes. But I wouldn't have gone out of my way to sound like a jerk.

FSU lost, but I'm proud that they even made it a game, as I expected the same result from last year.

No shame in losing to the #1 team in the nation. VT will give you a run for your $ come Decemeber.

As I've been saying for the past 3 weeks:

#3 Va Tech vs. #1 Miami December 7th, National Championship.

I would've expected more from Miami fans who almost had their national title hopes carved up on a platter by a supposedly vastly inferior FSU team.

Instead...we get them on here complaining about the refs and making excuses. Making excuses last year got Oklahoma booted out of the national title picture, and will do the same for Miami if they don't watch out.

Let's get one thing straight, if today's game didn't show it:

Miami is NOT better than they were last season; they may not even be better than their 2000 season.

I admit that I got caught up in the hype, but this game helped bring me back down to earth.

The 2001 Canes might have been the best Miami team ever. This team is good, but as good as last year's team?? No way.

    EDIT - I just saw mfclark's post.

Oh and you didn't make excuses when FSU lost to Louisville?? The rain?? Puhleeze... sour grapes.

    One word for ya....scoreboard.

I missed this post. Isn't drapg a Longhorn fan?? Doesn't he want Miami to lose?? Well, what do you know?? Someone who is not for Miami admitting that Miami got rooted on a call.

I guess mfclark is going to accuse drapg of making excuses for Miami even though drapg is not a Miami fan...
