Well Cat, if you're so confident, do you want to make another bet?

If the Spurs beat the Lakers, I will have whatever signature you want for two months instead of just one.

If the Lakers beat the Spurs, then the previous bet with the Sonics is cancelled, and I can get rid of this signature.

Are you up for this high-risk bet?

Those of you who continue to insult "The Admiral" David Robinson deserve every bit of this excellent season the Spurs are having. For such an NBA legend and champion to be criticized shows how much his toughness and heart are underestimated. It gives me pleasure to see David in the postseason and Hakeem on the sidelines. Go Spurs Go!

He He. You loser Spur-lover. :D

New Jersey over Charlotte in 6 (i doubted NJ, but Kidd's heroics in game 5 vs. pacers makes me a new believer)

Boston over Detroit in 6 (toughest one to choose)

Sacramento over Dallas in 7 (home court for Sacto wins it!)

Los Angeles over San Antonio in 5 (yeah, i gave SA one game, i'm in a good mood!)

Sure, why not. If the Spurs lose to the Lakers, it won't really be an "excellent season" anyway. :) Plus, you'll definitely have a couple of weeks with this signature win or lose, that's enough for people to notice. But the Spurs are winning anyway, so plan on having this up until draft time... :D

Well, I think the *s got a big break when Rashard got injured. In my opinion, he would have been the difference in that series. He was playing great until he got hurt.

Yeah, he definitely did a whole lot (in terms of winning) in games 1 and 3, both 20+ point blowouts...

The Spurs literally dominated the Sonics on Friday, and had a 33 point lead just moments into the third quarter. If you think Rashard Lewis would've made the difference in that game, that's quite possibly the most pathetic statement I've ever read on this BBS.

Don't you think you are a bit too dramatic? :)

Yeah, I suppose I've been listening to Bill Walton a little too much. :)

Yeah, losing your second-leading scorer and leading rebounder doesn't do anything to hurt your team.

We all want Rashard Lewis on the Rockets, even though his absense obviously meant nothing to the Sonics.

The Spurs don't have the benefit of a strike-shortened season and don't have enough to dethrone the Lakers.

Remember, the spurs swept the lakers back in the 99' playoffs.

They are capable of doing it regardless of what Phil Jackson says about that (32 game) shortened season

So you think Rashard Lewis is the difference in a 33 point blowout and the Sonics winning on Friday? I don't even think Shaq means that much.

I can't believe I'm the only one here to take Detroit over Boston. Boston has no answer for Ben Wallace and they have more than enough to contain both Walker and Pierce - Curry, Robinson, even Wallace on Walker at times. Unless several other players step up for Boston, they aren't going to win this series at all.

The only reason why this game right now is even close is because of Detroit making bad passes. A bit better ball control and Detroit walks away with this.

No analysis or prediction will be done for me until the Finals are over.

You can't really predict whos gonna win in any ammount of games. It's a lot of luck as well as a very small skill(of looking at past stats etc...)

AS you can see, i've lost a lot of money in bets and don't like making guesses.

    It's too stressful.

Phil wasn't the coach during that season and Shaq and Kobe weren't half the men they are now. The Spurs are a great team but the Lakers have two of the best five players in the league.

I know he wasn't the coach, But he sure talked a lot about that * asterisk type season and that they didn't really deserve to win the 99' Finals.
