Selling My House, Looking for a New Place

    i could use a good contractor. had some interior damage due to the hurricane and need a serious fix and upgrade in the restroom. can you email me his info?

    The guy that is going to do work for me is really good and reasonable. He actually used to own my house years ago and he's here in town since Ike just doing repairs and looking for re-model work if anyone needs someone like that.

    soooo....no garage? i forgot to mention that a 2 car is a must with us.

    i'm up for contractor info if you guys have "the best" recommendations. ;) we had been using one that our neighbor recommended but they kinda screwed us and them and now we have to get that work repaired too.

    Nope, no garage. I read recently that only 30 percent of the not-new houses in the Heights have an actual working garage and most of them are 1-car only. That's just the nature of older houses. Mine was built in 1930.

    The building where a garage once existed is now basically a workshop/living space. It could easily be fixed up into an apartment or something, but it works great as an office, workshop or, in my case, rehearsal room. :)
