I think you already answered your own question. Wii is a party machine. It's single player gems usually come from Nintendo and target a younger crowd ages 8 and up. The 360 has some great games targeting older players who can afford the Live subscription and play h2h against others online. So it depends on why you game. If it's to relax for half an hour then a Wii is fine. If you like marathon sessions where life just ends, then I think the 360 is better for that. But girls would pick up a wii quicker and if she's a keeper, she'll do the after party cleaning for you.
$250-$300. Sell it all as a package on ebay. Buy an XBOX. Say goodbye to a social life outside of XBOX Live.
i was thinking along the lines of 350. theres a lot of stuff here. my other nunchuck disappeared so yeah its not in the package anymore. new prices wii w/ nunchuck n wiimote- 250 wiimote- 40 component cables- 25 wireless sensor bar - 25 madden 07- 20 zelda- 50 SSX blur- 30 mario strikers- 50 my prices wii(very perfect condition) - 235 wiimote- 25 component cables- 15 wireless sensor bar- 15 madden 07- 10 zelda- 25 SSX blur- 15 mario strikers charged- 30 + all the stuff that it came with(composite cables and reg sensor)
I think getting 235 for a used Wii would be difficult. I know I'd rather pay 15 more dollars and get a brand new one. I dont know, I think it'd be good if you can get 300 total.
just keep the wii and save up a little longer. May even be able to take advantage of a x-mas sale somewhere
Get the 360. Wii games are dumb. I'm thinking about getting the 360 since playing Halo. I sucked but it was fun.
If you actually want someone to buy your console and all of your accessories, and especially if people know why you're selling, don't expect very much, because nobody is going to pay for a year-old console anywhere near the same price that they could get new, and, regardless of the accessories and games, they won't add much to the price. You'd have better luck selling each piece separately. That said, if you want to sell the whole thing in one swoop, then you're probably going to be able to get around $200 for the whole thing. Maybe $220.
looks like i have a buyer for 350 hopefully EDIT: he actually offered 400 himself so im good but he wont have the money til early november. which is alright cuz im doing psat crap til oct 20th
