Selena without a doubt. without Selena,J-lo would be appearing in b rated movies and music videos. It was playing the role of Selena that launched her singing career and film career. Everybody loved Selena, even the mexican audience loved her. The mexican people look down on chicanos, like tinman looks down on newbies. Look at Oscar de la hoya, still looking for approval. He can wear all the mariachi hats he wants but he's never going to be embraced by mexicans. Selena for the win!

How can you even come up with a poll like this, and you live in Texas, I assume. This is a disgrace to Selena's name. I mean really, I can think of two far better questions than this for a poll. 1. It doesn't matter when you created it. Selena is, I venture to say, the most revered figure in the Hispanic community, she is like elvis or tupac or john lennon or kurt cobain, and not because of her death because of the quality of her music and what she could have done. Yes this was 2009, but it is still full of fail.
