I hope Yao will stay in Houston. But it's kind of naive to think that a star player would stay with a certain team because he owns a restaurant in that city.

well, there goes my super secret news annoucement.

here's my little tidbit - the owner of the restaurant is the owner of Peking Restuarant at Gessner and 59. I've been to that restaurant about 7 times - 3 of those times I've run into someone from the Yao Ming's family there.

 where did you get this? it's true that the restaurant is not opened by yao's parents ALONE. there are other owners. but none of the other owners's last name is yao.

LOL. The only people who never show any shame on this board are the blindest Yao fans. Never ashamed when he puts up more fouls than points. Never ashamed when he stops fighting for position at the first nudge. Never ashamed when he unloads the ball the minute he's pressured. Never ashamed when he's outfought for a rebound by somebody a foot shorter. No, it's always somebody else's fault -- first Rudy, then Steve, then Van Gundy. Pretty soon there'll be a thread blaming Colin Pine.

Guess what: Yao deserves to be treated like any other player in the NBA. No more, no less. And when any other player plays like ****, we call him on it. That's not hate. It's respect. It's the respect of treating a man like a man instead of like a little boy.

The opinions expressed above are those of yours truly and do not necessarily reflect the views of Clutch, Clutchcity.net, the Clutch Crew, or Clutch This.

1.Yao never have a game end with more faults than points.
    2. He always keep fighting the position and demanding the ball even he knows he won't get the ball for whatever reasons
    3. he is such a team player with turly unselfish, as long as his teammate open, he always pass out for wide open shot.
    4. as the biggest man in the team, on offence he always sets screens for teammates and on defence he is doing dirty works to box out opposite team big mans for his teammates to get rebounds, even everybody complain his rebound numbers and he still follows game plan.
    5. fans complained rudy is due to Yao didn't even touch the ball in his rookie season.
    6. fans complained steve is because of his stupid turnovers and clutchtime decision
    7. fans complained Van Gundy, thanks to his game plans, offence not involve in Yao and limit yao on defence dirty jobs, huge waste his offence skills
    8. NBA didn't treat Yao differently, they treated even worse than some unknown players, look those foul calls on Yao, it's just ridiculous.
    9. Yeah, he is the top vote geter in all star game, because fans love his passion, his personality and his unique basketball telants.

You are such a stupid yao hater, nothing but the blindest dummy, shame on You, you is the disgrace to all the fans who turly love the games.

You had very good points until this one. He is the top vote getter becaue fans in China can vote on the internet.

He gets a big boost from that, yes he would still be the starting center, because frankly there are no other centers in the West.....excluding Amare, a PF playing out of position.

Looks like your opinions expressed above are really reflect the views of Clutch, Clutchcity.net, the Clutch Crew, or Clutch This, or even most of Rockets fan? Yao should know how the "real Rockets fans" think about him.
