Agreed. Better in game 1 of the regular season than to allow something all year and then pull it out from under us like a rug. NBA refs wanna be salty b****es, at least do it consistently and maybe by playoff time we’ll have perfected a style that even they can’t whistle away. I’m not hopeful though. I really don't care...if I were a ref, I'd never reward flopping. You square up and take a charge, sure... but that lil _____ made flopping in post that guys did against Yao/Shaq/Dwight when they posted up I'd never blow the whistle on that. Play defense or enjoy your time on your back. Now guys run up to Harden, take a bump, then fly back instead of playing actual defense, going to keep happening as long as they keep calling it.
It was warranted, though seemed like it was only one way since Giannis does the same thing - did on the very next play almost exactly the same and got the defensive foul. Harden showed again how he allows the Bucks and refs to get into his head, glad we lost because he needs to learn. Also, did you see how many points he gave up on defense?? It was pathetic, PA-THE-TIC!
He was taking dumb shots, pushing off people when he has nowhere to go, kicking out his leg while shooting... what do you expect? he made like 2 field goals
Didn’t feel like the Rockets got a single whistle last night and they had multiple horrible calls against them. I’m not sure if it was standard refs trying to keep one team in the game while we were winning big, payback for the released internal report last year, or for the China comments but it was pretty bad. If this keeps up Colin cowherd might be right and the Rockets might not make the playoffs after all.
You have two blatant bulldozing offensive fouls on Giannis. The refs instantly called them defensive fouls. How many 'offensive fouls' did Harden get? AT LEAST three of them were downright laughable and should not have been called. Let's just cherry pick two of the atrocious calls tonight. What a coincidence Harden knocked down 2x3 pointers that the refs waived away in a 6 point loss.
