Neck pain. Had a super sore neck for about 4-6 months after a car accident. It would get about 90% healed then I would look over my shoulder changing lanes in traffic and re-injure it. Went everywhere looking like Batman.

Pulling a muscle in your lower back.

Seems like this can happen doing the most mundane of activities. A few years ago, I pulled something just stepping out of the shower and I could barely move for the next 2 weeks.

Hasn't happened to me in a long time, thank goodness. Maybe because I'm drinking so much water?

I had a hair line fracture on my nasal bone (just above where the cartilage meets). It was awful, I would keep breaking my nose and hearing the crunch and almost immediate headache from just trying to dry my face after washing it / showering for almost 6 months.

Not really an injury....but Shingles. That **** is PAINFUL...didn't even know you could get it with in your 20's....apparently I got myself so stressed out over various things that I broke down my immune system and the chicken pox whatevers were activated....

Back pain is the worst. Other than breaking 3 or 5 ribs, it's the most constant/crappy/debilitating pain I've ever felt.

I'm 41 and I have to start thinking about a knee replacement on my left, it's bone-on-bone trashed from sports (mostly bball, never got hurt down there much playing soccer or football or baseball).

It's scary to think about, even thought I know it will be good in the long run (**** the Eagles).

I've had ACL/MCL/meniscus reconstruction about 12 years ago and scopes w/in the past 8. Anyone around my age been through this?

I had a huge blister under my big toe from playing sand volleyball. Put me out of playing for close to a month.

Dislocated shoulder. ****ing thing will pop back out if I lift awkwardly over my head or if it bends back to far.

I always thought once it popped in the first time you would be fine but it just lingers and lingers.

I'm nearly 41 and was told 4 years ago that I have the knee of a 400 lb, 70 yr woman. If I were older, it would've already been replaced. I have no meniscus left in my left knee from soccer. Now, my right is starting to show signs. It's like I have a sack of gravel when I bend. To make matters better, I haven't stopped playing. I figured the damage is done.

My hope is that I'll be able to manage long enough with cortisone shots and Aleve until knee replacement is an outpatient surgery. At some point, it's going to become a standard operation for athletes that gets them back on the field in weeks...I hope. Until then, I'll survive.

Otherwise, I find most any injury to my dominant hand to be more annoying than anything else. Just makes like much harder than it needs to be.
