    Classic!

They've said he's not reffing anymore in this series. I hope not.

Officiating is one factor that I'm most nervous about. There are numerous do-it-or-die games that were screwed up by the refs. But I believe.

Didn't crawford ref Game 2? That one was horrible. If Ron's not ejected for BS and Yao isn't taken out of the game on bad calls, we probably take a 2-0 series lead.

It's funny because the refs were not too bad tonight until the second half started.. then it was all no calls on our side and calling every ticky tac thing on the lakers side.

Other than ejecting Ron Artest and calling his throat with a foul, yes, he did a fine job in game 2.

Who cares? Just go out, hit LA in the mouth and kick their tails home.

I would expect 2 invisible fouls on Chuck in the first quarter to take out our post defense. mmmm and if they are smart enough, they would call a couple of fouls on Shane / Artest. We really need a new commissioner, it's too obvious how bad he wants the Lakers and Cavs matchup. You $uck $tern!

This thread is just sad. Even sadder, I can't disagree with the thesis.

    The NBA has a problem.

Officiating will be fine, the NBA knows that everyone is watching for this crap.

This is the perfect situation for the NBA to pull the ole "Ref Favoring" crap and everyone will pass it off as HCA.

But everyone will be watching, Lakers will just have to outplay us on Sunday.

after game 6 i told StupidMoniker and Microfridge that the refs for game 7 will be

    Joey Crawford
    Bennette Salvatore
    Dick Bavetta

I dont know if the NBA has a rule where a ref can only do one game of a series? if thats true then we should get a whole new crew for Sunday

I am guessing Ed Malloy will be one of them

    are u serious?

he gave yao 3 fouls in less than 10 mins, and those fouls were not neccesery calls also. so he basicly put Yao out the game just by himself!!

he ruined our offense whenever we had a good pace or control of the game.

he didn't give Lakers any calls on their dirty plays, like elbow on shane, knee on shane, knee on Yao....

his timing of calls were very obviously benefitable to Lakers

he ejected Ron purely on Ron's reputation, which took away our last chance to fight back.

Does anybody really believe Tim Donaghy was alone in gambling/fixing league games?

Referees for game 7 will be Crawford, Violet Palmer, and a work-released Tim Donaghy. Dick Bavetta will be the backup.
