    Who cares. Steve doesn't deserve it. He hasn't let this team anywhere. Steve has no consistency in regards to shooting or passing out the ball. The only consistency he has is in regards to underachieving.

    how come only rockets fans think steve sucks but everyone else thinks he's an amazing talent?:rolleyes: ............................maybe cause he is one of the best point guards in the league and has got to change his whole game to fit the system, and guess what, he's not even complaining and you all still bash him because he makes a few mistakes and is going through a slump for the first time in his career.........amazing:rolleyes:

    If the All-Star game were about rewarding excellent seasons, neither Yao nor Francis deserve it. But it's not, so screw it. I want to see Rockets in the All-Star game, not Lakers, not Nuggets, not Suns, not Kings, nothing but Rockets. So I vote Rockets all the way down the list, and write in a Rocket at the bottom.

    i dont know, you would think that this city is used to great pgs and have high expectations for that reason(thats why Yao has such high expectations, has to fill in Dream's shoes), but that isnt the case. Francis is one of the best backcourt players in rocket history... Yet everyone just completly and to the point of ignorance hate him. Its a bandwagon type thing. Its "cool" to bash francis(as weird as that sounds it is true).

    oh yeah i think the numbers will be fine, the overseas vote, i.e. China vote hasnt been tallied yet (at least in the first returns) and i assume still hasnt yet. chances are yao will then take the lead over shaq and steve further the gap between him and the number #3 guard

    What makes you say that the overseas votes haven't been tallied. I know that atleast the internet votes are all tallied together, so that covers the majority of votes. Now all those write in ballots from china :rolleyes:

    Yes the earthshaking change in the system the 4 years before JVG was hired certainly affected his performance. :rolleyes:

    Certainly people here would find any flimsy excuse to defend Steve when he doesn't deserve any breaks.

    I will not vote for Francis. He has not played well and doesn't deserve to go. He still has not improved his defense or passing.
    He has gotten too big of a head getting to the all star game the last couple of years. He has regressed in my opinion. He's a good player but not great yet and not a franchise player.

    When ______ (insert any name here) gets paid max, doesn't deliver, doesn't show signs of improvements, he deserves to get bashed. Even Vince Carter gets bashed and he's actually took his team within one game of the finals. The real ignorant ones are the ones that will defend him regardless. Who gives a f*ck about Rockets championships, let's give Steve another 5 years.

    Payton is nipping at his heels. I think some on here are voting for Payton or Marbury to say "F.U." to Steve.

    it was reported on ESPN when the first tally came out that they did not include the overseas vote of any kind. Not just China, but Europe as well. Thats why i said that I know at least for the first count it wasnt tallied, i dont know for this new tally, but if it hasnt been counted yet then obvious the standing will change. Yao will close the gap, maybe take over Shaq and stevie would further the gap between him and the #3 guard, payton or nash. I have yet to hear any reports on espn or newspapers and the internet that the overseas vote has in fact been tallied for this second return

    I will not vote for a player that is so poorly just because he is on my team. Steve Francis does not deserve to be in the All-Star game. At least not yet.
