our differential for the last quarter of season played is almost +10. its higher than any other team in the west other than LAL at +12.
I'd like to think OP inadvertently used a pun. The Rockets will make a second round gua-RUN-tee. maybe maybe no?
Gua RUN tee!!! Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!Gua RUN tee!!!
I like the enthusiasm! 2nd round here we come!* *no guarantee of the Rockets making the playoffs or advancing if qualifying.
you're talking point differential, I'm talking efficiency differential, one's much more important than the other. here: lakers +7.5 utah +6.2 spurs +5.8 hornets +5.7 phoenix +5.2 dallas +4.6 rockets +4.2 no matter who we get I just don't see us winning. except new orleans. I think we could take advantage of their lack of experience. edit: however I don't know their efficiency differential for the last 25% of games... that could be more important. I know our offense has improved.
And thats why the Giants beat the Pats....all the Pro predictions and numbers were all correct. All the mathematical crap went out the window with that one......Why not the Rockets??
Scola for rookie of the year is bit of a stretch. As much as I love him, you know he's under 10 ppg right now. If he wants to make it close to Durant's 20 he would have to average like 35 points a game for the rest of the season.
i know what you are saying, and yes i prefer efficiency differential too. however, more often than not eff differential and point differential march in lockstep. as a comparison, here is efficiency differential and full season point differential put side by side: lakers +7.5/+7.2 utah +6.2/+5.5 spurs +5.8/+5.3 hornets +5.7/+4.9 phoenix +5.2/+5.1 dallas +4.6/+4.1 rockets +4.2/+4.1 so you can see that the teams "rank" in the same order regardless of which one you use. That's why I have no doubt that the rockets recent (last 25%) efficiency differential is right at the top of the western conference just like their point differential is.
