Where is your evidence that Michelle Obama is a man?

She won. It wasn't the humiliating beatdown the first debate was, but she won on substance and style alone.

A town hall format favors her. She's been doing this for a long time and knows how to connect with people from the audience asking questions.

That and Trump certainly didn't improve his Politifact Truth-O-Meter numbers tonight. Something like less than 20% of his statements are factually true according to their cumulative data.

Well, you know it's bad when a candidate threatens to imprison his opponent if elected and it's not all that surprising.

The U.S. is gonna have to reckon with Trump's candidacy for, perhaps, decades. It is a blueprint for how to get away with demagoguery in modern America. And it is being written by an ignorant buffoon. Eventually, an actually intelligent and skilled demagogue is gonna emerge. One who won't be shooting themselves in the foot and can manage to appeal to more of the electorate.

Threatening to jail your opponent.... Banana Republic stuff, right there.

Agreed, the damage done by handing the white house to Hillary and handing the Senate, House, and SCOTUS to the Democrats will have severe negative repercussions that will last decades....still probably not as bad as a Trump presidency though.

Well the demographics are changing, in 2020 this type of loony behavior may still win the republican nomination but it would be even less likely to win the presidency.

Definitely not with white supremacy at the center of the campaign.

I didn't watch the debate so whether he or she won, that's up to debate.

But I'll tell you what really bothers me about Donald Trump. He doesn't take this seriously. He obviously knows very little about how the government works, the military, foreign affairs, domestic policy, etc. And he's too lazy in this endeavor to do so.

It is personally offensive to me. I work an average of 50 to 60 hours per week. And the most important aspect of what I do is to know the most about my field so I can give my clients the best advice. And many of my clients are extremely knowledgeable, hard-working people who are experts in their field through a great deal of study and hard work. So, I'm proud to say that I'm very knowledgeable in my field, and I highly respect the many people on this board who are, as well. I've said many times to others that I've gotten more valuable information off the members of ClutchFans than I have on numerous other sites, including advice about investing, real estate, legal, statistics, foreign affairs, etc. And honestly, as much as I disagree on matters with someone like Around The World, at least he does his research- as a matter of fact, he and people like Bobby are infinitely more qualified to run on the Republican ticket than Donald Trump. Knowledge counts.

Yet, this matters very little to Mr. Trump. Yes, it is important that you know what the job entails. And judging from months and years of statements, it is obvious that he has no clue about so much of what you need to know if you are elected for the highest office in the land. It's an insult to people who put in the effort to be the best they can be- or at least reasonably competent- in their fields. It would be pathetic if he wasn't already thisclose to being elected as one of the last 2 standing.

But yet, his supporters will buy his lines like "Once I'm _____, I'll be Presidential" and the whole outsider schtick. Lovely.

I'm not sure what debate you were watching tonight but it was pretty obvious to me that Trump won this. I'm actually stunned he did so well considering the furor he entered this debate with and the fact that both moderators were more aggressive interrupting him and at one point literally arguing with him. He stayed calm...kept the interrupting down vs. the last debate and most importantly Clinton simply didn't respond effectively to Trumps most aggressive charges about emails, Benghazi, Syria, and 30 years of missed opportunities to fix the problems she bemoans. Lastly, although Trump was certainly on the defensive early on over the "bus video" he apologized and pivoted well...especially with regards to Hillary's treatment of the women that Bill and Hillary victimized. Regardless of how you feel about the 2 candidates and what they said, Trump won this. And the focus group Frank Luntz had of undecided voters in Missouri overwhelmingly verified my own assessment.

Trump also absolutely helped shore up the support within his own party tonight. This was really his last chance and he brought it. FINALLY, someone had the balls to call Hillary out in front of a worldwide audience about her disgraceful performance with the personal email server and classified information. The 2 most memorable moments of the night also went to Trump with his "If I was President you'd be in Jail" line and the "Honest Abe" zinger. You don't have to like Trump to know those really nailed her.

Having said the above, I still think he has a less than 25% chance to win the debate...mainly because their is going to be more things to come that the Clinton campaign has dug up about Trump and will be released over the next couple of weeks. As long as the election is about who is the worse person...Clinton wins. If it stays about who can best provide the change you want...Trump has a chance.

Proliferation of nuclear weapons....banning people for their religious beliefs....a massive impractical wall...tightening up libel laws....going after political opponents with special prosecutors...I don't think people want that kind of change.

It was one of the darkest things I've ever seen. And you see people gloss over your point and attack hillary and say a Trump presidency wouldn't be as bad!!!

This guy is a buffoon. And one has to wonder if this country was actually in an economic crisis and had a skilled demagogue - they could take over the country and consolidate power very easily. Democracy is no longer a sure thing for future generations. That red line has been crossed.

You're welcome to believe all of this, but you're going to be in for a rude awakening when you wake up tomorrow and see what people are saying about the debate

Your obvious personal bias isn't going to change the reality of the situation.

I know it might not be the kind of change you're looking for, but there's a lot of unrest in this country about terrorism, BLM, cops under siege, a sputtering economy, corruption in govt, establishment do nothings, immigration enforcement, and on and on. More importantly, Clinton has a TON of baggage and is the last thing people think of with regards to change. I stand by my statement.
