Actually, although I like Kenny Thomas, I think I would rather part with him than with Maurice Taylor...after some thinking about it. Mo is locked up for a longer time and, although he is a worse rebounder, I think he is probably better overall than Kenny T.

I wish we could somehow trade Kenny T and Cato and get Lewis. That would be perfect - if Boki could play backup SG and SF, we would be set for years and years and years.

    Just imagine:

PG: Francis (the Franchise), Moochie (say what you want, but he can hit winners)
SG: Mobley (much better than people on the board make him out to be, took less money to stay with the Rockets), Boki
SF: Lewis (as long as he is willing to fit in with the team, I think he could be a fantastic fit), Boki, Rice (as the veteran that is willing to take a reduced role to compete for a championship, tutor the younger guys and come in and make big shots when it counts)
PF: Griffin (will hopefully become the best defender on the team), Taylor
C: Ming (bring him along slowly, but not too slow - keep our expectations low and then be surprised by how aggressive he will become before we expect it), Griffin/Taylor (one of them could switch to the C position when we go with a smaller lineup, so both could spend quite some time on the floor together actually - I think they would complement each other well, Taylor still more polished offensively, Griffin the better rebounder and shot-blocker)

    That team would be unstoppable.

The minutes would be distributed as follows:

    PG: Francis 34, Norris 10, Mobley 4
    SG: Mobley 35, Boki 8, Francis 5
    SF: Lewis 34, Rice 10, Boki 4
    PF: Griffin 28, Taylor 20
    C: Ming 28, Griffin 10, Taylor 10

The only thing I would like to add would be a mean bruiser...not to play too many minutes, but to act as an intimidator and bodyguard for Ming and the others...hmm...how about Chucky Brown? Or is he too nice? :) I would definitely prefer him to Oakley, I just can't stand that guy...

Rashard will not be the difference between us going or not going the playoffs. Especially if we have to give up Griffin.

Please try adding some periods to indicate the end of a sentence.

First, while Rashard isn't worth a max contract, in today's market, he's definitely worth a $7-8 million contract. Cato, Taylor, Shandon, & Dampier are just a few examples of what average players are making today.

Second, what facts or information are you basing your claim that Rashard will not be as good as last year?

And finally, how many games have you personally seen Nachbar play in & against what competition?

The last part of your run on paragraph, I chose not to respond to, because it doesn't warrant a response.
