Lewis could instantly put the Mavericks over the top and into the level of the Kings and Lakers (provided they decide to play defense, which is a big if). PG-Nash SG-Finley C-Lafrentz SF-Lewis PF-Nowitzki My goodness, offensively, no team would be able to match up against this team. All five players have range out to 3 point range, 3 of them would be 6'10" or taller. This team would be an offensive juggernaut, I wouldn't be surprised if they averaged 110-115 ppg. Hopefully if Lewis doesn't sign with Seattle, he'll come home and resist the temptations of playing for Mark Cuban and his deep pockets.
Signing him for the MCE would mean that he can't play anywhere else. As long as his agent isn't David Faulk, screwing him later when extension time comes up isn't that bad... They might not have to, but it give the Rockets greater options on separating the wheat from the chaff.
Rashard's from Houston, His Agent Carl Poston is in Houston. . . and Seattle is dismantling there team. . . .I think if the possibility of Sign and trade exists say with Rice. . . .go for it. . . .or. . . .possibly Mo Taylor is on the way out. . . .I also think that the unintended consequence of signing Yao (if we do) is that Cato may remarkably improve. . . .Go Rockets. . .
First, RL got his feelings hurt by the Rockets. Now, he's mad at the Sonics. Tommorrow, it will be someone else. Seems like he gets upset with whomever he's close to. We already have enough of a soap opera without him.
