i dont remember the exact quote but at first they said it was a bit dirty and then said it was just a hard foul and then lenny was saying how mcgrady's shove had no place in the game and that it was a disgrace. honestly i was really surprised at lenny wilkins he was making jabs all night at the rockets. i remember at one point he was saying that the rockets werent playing like a playoff team but like one whose season was over and i was like wait a minute they're the ones who are up 8 and just made a great defensive play (hayes or battier dived on the ground to secure a steal) anyways got the W and the home court (for now)
lol on another note, i cannot believe lenny wilken is saying crap like this. we deserve to give them some attitude for their hard fouls on Yao.
It was funny that during the second quater, they claimed that Tracy carried the ball, followed by a replay of him dribbling the around his defender. What I saw was simply against what they gushed. There is no better dribbling in NBA than Tracy. They are totally bs. They also claimed the foul that brought Yao hard down the floor is not flagrant. The assoication should punish dangerous play like that, it was not only flagrant, it is uncalled for.
geez, y'all are talking about a Lenny Wilkens that i don't recognize at all. i hope R2K puts clips of Wilkens in the highlight video.
It was mainly Wilkens doing the Rockets "bashing". It wasn't so much bashing as it was just picking on every little thing. A compliment was hard for him to put out. Colabro called a pretty fair game from what I recall. He's one of the best in the game.
I bet there are people in the Seattle board right now saying how Matt Bullard and that Worell guy are jerks.
probably not, unless there are seattle fans in houston posting on that board. nba league pass carried the fsn northwest feed tonight and thus the majority of non-houston residents who watched the game got to hear lenny.
man...its a fact that wilkens did a classless act for bashing the rocks, bill would not have done that
OMG... even Dallas doesn't blow teams out all the time. It doesn't make us any less of a team to not blow Seattle out of the water. The only thing that matters is we win.
Speaking of NBA League Pass...does anyone know what one has to do if they don't live in Houston to see the Playoff Games?? I don't think NBALP provides those games. Thanks. -X
