I thought the producer guy was just going to give in and make the movie anyway after his speech about Apocalypse Now. And it's annoying to me that they wouldn't make the deal. Why not counter with, we'll make Medellin first, then Matterhorn? That's why you don't smoke pot when you're trying to get the movie of your dreams.
I'll say it again, this show has become a show about nothing...and it's moving at a snails pace. Drama had the best moments by far in the last show.
^ Agreed... Drama is the bus driver in RH3 and has to fly himself, well, he got the kid to buy the tickets... I'm not sure he banged the wife as the previews had them still looking for $$$ to make the movie, or maybe I'm just confused... Again, they need more nekkid chicks...
So what?? Like someone else said, I'd still watch it another 10 seasons. The last line of the episode and Vince's reaction are what makes this show one of the best on TV. Brilliant!
It always was a show about nothing to me. Lots of people told me that I should love it, having spent 12 years out there trying to make it in music. All the show does is remind me of people I'd rather forget, and that's why I don't watch it.
They've been trying to set up Vince as a guy who simply won't make a movie he doesn't believe in. Though they underplayed it a bit, it appeared that there was no way he would do Matterhorn even if it meant he got to do Medellin. That episode was depressing to me since it made me think that, even though the studio was going to get $5 million selling the script to Vince, the original writer probably only got $200K or so.... if that.
mrpaige, it's great to see you! Hope you stick around. I think you're right, by the way. Perhaps more than 200K, but not much, unless he had a heck of a reputation.
What? No love for Entourage today after what was probably The Best episode in many seasons??? Having Sofia Vergara in it didn't hurt either. I guess technically I should have started a Season 4 thread.
