    Wed will be the first time I get to go to a season opening game. Is the pregame different (longer)? What time should I try to be there?

    You're going the wrong way DeAleck. By my count there are about 19 and a half hours left until tipoff. Since this is a "count down", we're going by how much time is left. And since you seem to be using a "day" as your unit of measurement, then in order to represent that you divide 19.5 by 24 and you get 0.8125. So the appropriate count down figure is:

    0.8125

    I am sorry, this is an opening day countdown. Where were 70 minutes left until the opening day (in my time zone), so I was right. Not that you were wrong, but we were measuring different things...

    Anyway, screw it! Have you ever seen this kind of conversation during the new year countdown in Time Square? It's celebration time, not discussion time. :)
