Pimp: I don't really want to trade someone like Allen for depth right now, esp. with McDyess due to come back soon. I think I should have plenty. Sorry for not getting to your trade offer on the site: I saw the email, but ever since Sunday of this week I haven't been able to get to the site. I have it bookmarked, but for some reason it's now asking me for my password to enter. I have it written down somewhere, but haven't found it yet, and don't remember because I never had to use it.

BGM: I'm interested in Rivera... would you like a young pitcher?

We could work out a deal with Parra or Leo Smith along with Rivera being the principles...

Furey interests me Sammy, but the fact he's 27 and hasn't really produced yet kind of scares me, I'd prefer a younger C prospect with a G in hits from anyone...

Also the same thing for Cat about Deroche...

My boy AJ Pierzynski has really been playing well for me this season, so I'm not really interested in 27+ C.

    I'd actually prefer a AA/A guy...with a G in hits...if any of those exist...

Are you going to do the deal we talked about the other night, or not? The only reason I ask is because Fraley was in that proposal...

BGM, Furey's got a .316 career average coming into this season. The fact is that he's been stuck behind Posada most of his career, but he's pretty much produced when given the chance.

If age is an issue I understand, but his production to date shouldn't be a hangup. Anyway, had to defend my guy. Let me know if you change your mind.

BGM - ok, he's not a good in hits, but Jack Underhill just had a development and is fair-good-brilliant now with B defense. I don't know how you feel about his on-base capabilities, but I just thought I'd throw the name out there...

Since the trade deadline should pass in a few hours, I'll offer up some available players here:

    Daryle Ward
Albert Pujols (you need to talk to me about that, franchise, if you still want him)
    Joe Thurston
    Chien-Ming Wang
    Darin Erstad

and possibly some more... remember, I'm looking for cheap alternatives, or at the least an upgrade at another position without gaining salary. In other words, salaries must be equal or lower for me to trade.

    franchise,

Would you be interested in trading Jones? I could trade you Pujols and Erstad for Jones and Lee Martinez, who isn't starting for you right now...

Well my phenom, Les Dossantos, is pretty much ready to take on the Majors, only problem is I really don't have a place for him on the roster.

    I'm offering 3 players...

    Adrian Beltre
    Austin Kearns
    Ray Rodriguez

I want a major league/AAA SP in return for 1 of these guys, please don't insult my intelligence with over the hill SP's with career ERA's above 5...
