So I've been perusing this thread for a little while, and I thought I'd throw my two cents in. Guys listed in this thread that I really like include Doe Kimbell and Dallas MacPherson (duh).

There are some very good young players that I am willing to trade, in deals for those guys or a John-Ford Griffin-like outfielder, or a great 1B or C. These include:
- 3B/LF Sean Burroughs (25 years old, 6 5 2 6 6, and locked up for at least another year after this one on a $100K contract)

- 3B/1B/LF/RF Matt Holliday, who is brilliant in homers and rated 8 there at age 26. In his rookie year last year, he hit 24 home runs.

- Tommy Eddy, an LF/RF/C. He's 5 3 4 6 6 at age 25, batting .263 currently and having thrown out 7 of 15 potential basestealers.

- Depending on who I get, I may also be willing to trade one of Randey Dorame or Donnie Bridges, who are both very solid. Dorame commands just $100K this season.

If you see anyone else you're interested in, feel free to ask. Again, my needs are primarily C, 1B, and corner OF.

Attention to anyone who needs PITCHING:

I am looking to trade a SP or two for power hitting in the outfield and/or 1B. Players available include: Freddy Garcia, Jon Lieber, Jon Garland, and Jim Parque...prospects Jeff Reyes and Jim Nance can be had, but it will take good young hitting talent. The only untouchables are Wendell and Van Hekken.

haven,

I remember that at one time you were interested in Lance Niekro. Since Gripp is doing well again, and I desperately need some solid bullpen help, I was wondering if you were interested in trading me bullpen help for good ol' Lancey.

This offer goes for anyone else as well who is interested in a good young 3B for some good bullpen pitching.

Raven:

Matt Whisenant and Tom Martin for Lance Niekro?

Whisenant's stuck in A because I've got too much MR, but he's got "good" talent in hits and avoiding homers and is solid everywhere else. Incidentally, check out Whisenant's hits rating versus lefties? He's death to them. Perfect 10.

Martin just declined from good, but still retains good ratings.

Sorry, haven, I was thinking more of a established relievers. Martin and Whisenant both have poor ratings (or at least poorer than most of my current relievers) and they are old, with little hope of getting better.

In return for Lance, I need at least one reliever who is almost a guaranteed low 3.something ERA for the season.

Eh, probably no chance at a deal then.

You're right in that Niekro may be worth more than those guys, but since he'd be a 2nd stringer right now, and a 3rd stringer once Teix returns, he's not really worth that much to me. I wanted him last year after Teix went down.

Sammy -
I'd give you 21 year old pitcher Jeff Reyes (G-A-G-G) and one of Riel, Herrod (both A-F-B outfielders), Stennis, Groves... well, an outfield prospect for the Bulge and Chancellor Pilkington. Let me know if you're interested.

I'd like to see what kind of offers I can get for Pudge. He's having an awesome season(.376 20 66 ) , and could be very valuable to a team pushing for a WS run. In return, I'd like at least a decent catcher, and either a stud hitting prospect(1B, 3B, OF) or 2 solid prospects.

I'll give you Josh Fogg (avg-fair-good-avg), Matt Blank (avg-fair-good-avg), and Ramon Siddiqui (avg-avg-avg-avg) - Fogg and Blank are currently better than at least two of your major league pitchers; Siddiqui is close and is just 23 - for Marv Anderson.

Wel since the friggin game hates the rockies so much i guess i am going to start rebuilding. I am going to hold onto Prior, Helton, Griffin and Patterson(for obvious reasons)but i think just about anyone else on my ML roster could be available for the right price. Your best chance of contacting me is thru the email button. I ahve been real busy lately and have not had a lot of time to spend on the boards.

Need catchers? I will deal any of my three catchers after the season:

Mike Lieberthal-- .294, 10 homers, 31 RBI (limited time), 4.13 mil, 1 year
Javy Lopez-- .319, 25 homers, 105 RBI, 2.9 mil, 1 year
Jason Varitek-- .299, 23 homers, 71 RBI (split time with Lieberthal), 3.2 mil, 1 year

All of these guys are pretty cheap and at least have 3-4 good seasons left. However, I have no need for all three, especially since my prospect catcher Juan Deroche looks ready to play next season. I'm looking for pretty good young players (22 and under) for any of these-- preferably pitchers, although hitters will do as well. Post some offers below, or talk to me in the chat sometime.
