This is all we can do now so let's freaking run the Lakers to death. I also want to see hard def. with at least one message foul to Kobe -- he needs to hit the floor once today.

    Exactly!!

Start Brooks, Artest, Wafer, Battier, And Scola

Give wafer and brooks the green light

I think we have a shot to outgun them with this lineup

um, I don't think we can beat L.A in a running game. They want to run.

I think we have to slow it down and just feed Scola and have Brooks break the defense.

This is why we should leave gameplan to the coaches. Running on the Lakers LOL? Instead we went with DEFENSE and upgraded our starting lineup defensively by inserting Hayes for Yao. If Deke was in there playing today, you'd see the same results. Our better defense coupled with LA's horrible D has led to this halftime blowout.

Please tell me how many fast break points we got because honestly I did not see much running going on, except for AB of course but he was going nowhere :D

Sure... we score 100, 98, and 94 points in the previous 3 games and now that we score 99, we're a run and gun team. :D

How about this : The Lakers scored 92, 111, and 108 in the first 3 games and scored 87 in this one.

Ya think maybe not allowing 2nd chance points and easy buckets may have had something to do with the win? We stopped a run and gun team from going crazy on us. Pray it happens again.

The key is NOT running -- it's DEFENSE (keeping the Lakers under 100 pts), REBOUNDING & LOW TURNOVERS (not allowing 2nd chance points).

we won this game not by run run run, but by being aggressive, attacking, and playing with a lot of mega hustle and physicalness.

We protected the ball and moved it well, and forced turnovers.

    That's why we won.

Run Run Run?? Hmm lets see where does running in the NBA get you?? Nowhere. Teams that play an uptempo style fails. Golden State? Fail The Suns before the Shaq trade? Fail. And they failed every year. In the playoffs you need balance. With this lost to Yao its hard for us to have that balance we need to win it all.

that what i been saying most of the season we can run some plays to the other brooks wafer battier but adelman don't understand the player that we got IMO we can run some plays to yao rest them at the time he's in the game and don't force yao all the time

They ran ran ran.....which was good.....had 85 points in the first 3 quarters before pulling off the accelerator, but what was more important was only 10 turnovers.

You know why? They were not trying to force it to Yao....they could all play to their natural strengths.

Glad to see them doing what they need to...I hope they come out with the same energy and run run run in the next game too.

We are too quick for them in the backcourt....it is our only advantage.
