People didn't like no campaign in Titanfall

 

No campaign is a dealbreaker for me. Not enough to not buy the game at all, but I'll be waiting for a sale.

Starting with games like Titanfall, why are developers getting away with charging full price for half a game? Not to mention the additional $60 DICE tacks on for their "Premium" service.
There is no doubt that DICE and Treyarch and Infinity Ward make pretty good games, but their business model is bad for the industry.

 

They'll have missions that you can play offline.

Basically they are just following the Battlefield 1942 approach... which was a great game without a campaign.

 

Anyone play the beta yet?

 

I have a set up where I have to use a gamepad with my PC and I was just getting destroyed over and over because I can't aim worth a damn while I assume everyone else is using keyboard and mouse. I sucked so bad that I couldn't have fun. Probably won't buy it for PC. I'm a massive Star Wars fan too.

 

I played for a little while, my experience was a lot of running around getting shot in the back. It looks great though.

 

Game seems unbalanced on walker assault. I have yet to win a match as part of the rebel team.

 

Played a bit of the solo mission this morning. Pretty fun and fluid. Plus the graphics are insane and it sounds great on the surround sound.

Gonna jump on the multiplayer tonight and get destroyed

 

Anyone notice that Battlefront ads are always on Endor?

 

It's been fine. It's certainly enjoyable, but I don't find it to have a ton of replay value going forward. Probably won't purchase.

 

Watched some gameplay on Twitch.

Looked like call of duty masked in with a star wars theme.

 

Game is okay. Nothing special, but it should sell a lot because of Star Wars setting alone.

 

Here's my game play of the beta from last night. @ 4:00 you can see me assisting lord vader and @4:30 it was me vs Luke. Plays like cod but the maps feels like a battlefield game because of the open area battlefield. I'm not a star wars fan but i like it. I need to find a light saber coin so i can become either darth or luke.

The game was made by DICE, same company that made battlefield.

 

I didn't mind it. Was getting my ass owned for a while in multiplayer though.

 

This game is too easy with unlimited health and ammos 39K 3D

I'm surprised at how accurate your blaster rifle is. They make it look so difficult in the movies.

 

Has anyone had trouble trying to get a group playing all on the same map?

Was trying to play with two other friends and it would only let 2 of us play together on Dropzone while the other couldn't get on

 

I must be awful at fps games cause I rarely have more kills then deaths but I've found the beta pretty fun. Never played a battlefield game before and I'm finding the Star Wars theme a nice touch. I'd probably buy the game on sale at some point.
