Most of you said Machado was arrogant when he said he was better than Jeremy Lin. The fact is, Machado was in practice and saw Jeremy Lin play every day, and even played against him, so Machado knows a lot more about how good Jeremy Lin is than any of you. Machado also knows a lot more about how good Machado is than any of you. Machado is the man with all the answers. In fact, Machado is The Answer. It's time Daryl Morey started asking the right questions about who should be the Rockets starting point guard. Once he does that, The Answer will be obvious.
Pretty sure Scott "The Answer" Machado can do better than this: Jeremy Lin Stats in 33 Minutes of play vs. The Raptors (6-19, missing starting pg) Points l======= Assists l== Rebounds l= Turnovers l===
lol... I love this thread. Will bookmark and read three times before bed every night.... Laughter is the best medicine.
I wouldn't go as far as to say that he is the answer, but, truth be told, he is the only real PG they have on the team. I think he should be called up to play some with the team.
You can't handle the truth! We need a real PG for what? to bring up the ball and hand the ball and spot up for 3 in the corner? I think Douglas is doing fine, plus he is a great defender.
Honestly, I'm not so sure anymore. Tonight Lin played against the worst defensive PG in the league against one of the worst teams in the league. Machado is certainly the best passer out of all the PG's on the roster, so if our starting PG is going to shoot 39%, rarely go to the line, be bad at 3pters and play negligible D while the team focuses on running n gunning - then it may be a decent idea to give Machado a run if he's looked any good in D-League action. It's been 22 games. I've intentionally not said a word about it this entire time. Frankly, I'm starting to get concerned about whether we have a Stromile Swift situation on our hands.
He has been in the D-league longer than any of the other rookies. He is already our hardest working rookie. He has needed it too. Now i think it is time he was tested in the NBA.
